Fabulous little bed and breakfast on Lowestoft Seafront, very reasonably priced. Loads of free parking . The room where we stayed was very comfortable, views of the sea with tea and coffee facilities in the room. Lots of places to eat and drink nearby. They also provided and excellent full breakfast the following day. All in all we would definently stay there or recommend anyone to stay there again.

We visited Lowestoft to attend a concert at the Marina Theatre Lowestoft to enhance the experience we decided to have an overnight stay, I found Wavecrest on the internet and telephoned Sue and made the booking, we arrived on Saturday 2nd April and were welcomed by Sue herself, she showed us our room and we made ourselves comfortable. The room has a really nice en suite, with a large shower area. Our room overlooked the sea, breakfast on Sunday was very nice, no large fry up but all the ingredients of one but just cooked nice and heathily, I enjoyed poached egg, mushrooms and tomatoes but Sue would quite happily have provided veggie sausages if I had wanted them. First class would recommend and use again.

Sue and Mark are great hosts and provide a lovely clean and comfortable base to enjoy Lowestoft and the surrounding area. The rooms have everything needed for a pleasant stay. There is plenty of parking nearby and the restaurants, bars, shops and other attractions are within easy walking distance.

I spent the night in a lovely double room overlooking the sea, a stone's throw from the beach, perfect for catching the sunrise. The owners were very kind on the phone and in person and incredibly accomodating. I felt really at home. The room was lovely with a beautifully newly done up bathroom en suite. WIFI access too. The greatest surprise was the lovely breakfast I got in the morning...lashings of everything with some fresh eggs from the owners newly aqcuired chickens...delicious and the perfect way to start the day. Don't bother looking for anywhere else to stay...this is THE place to stay in Lowestoft! Happy travels.

We stayed in the B&B on one of our frequent family visits to Lowestoft. Normally we would stay at the Premier Inn at the top of the town, but this time we booked the Wavecrest because we needed to be close to the railway station. I am so glad we did.

Sue and Mark are wonderful hosts - friendly, helpful, while at the same time leaving us to enjoy their house and give us our own space. The fanily room was just perfect for the 2 kids and myself. The breakfast was simply fantastic. And the B&B is so well placed in the centre of Lowestoft, on the seafront, with good parking right outside.

Everything was topped by glorious weather. Lowestoft's South beach across from the B&B, remains one of Britain's best. I might be biased as Lowestoft is home, but there are few walks that beat the one along the water's edge on a clear sunny winter's day. It is majestic.

We loved it!

Thank you so much for your glowing review!
However you mention that you weren't entirely happy with your breakfast and, as I am always looking to improve, would appreciate some feedback about this!

Your B&B was impeccable as far as cleanliness was concerned, the facilities excellent and the breakfast absolutely 5-star. Perhaps we can avail ourselves of your wonderful hospitality again sometime in the future when we are travelling down to that area.

Congratulations on the refurb and good luck with future business; I'm sure you will be on the "Crest of a Wave"

Best Regards
Ann & Bob Mullins
