Had a wedding there and everything was perfect. The staff could not have been more helpful, the food was fantastic as were the rooms. would definitely stay here again and often stop off for a drink or a meal.

Having booked a room through Groupon I then upgraded for a sea view and was delighted on arrival that the room was lovely with a large ensuite bathroom.
Rooms were very clean and well stocked, views were amazing. Great service in the dining room and breakfast was lovely. Highly recommended

Room Tip: Upgrade to a sea view

Last saturday myself, husband and two of our special friends went to Hotel Victoria for their "seafood" evening. Despite having a wedding and hen party the same night the staff were extremely polite and professional. Food was very good and our table had a lovely view over looking the sea. David says he is still waiting for the drink that Vaughan promised him!!!

Well to be honest I wasn't expecting too much, not because I had stayed here before, but having worked in Lowestoft for a number of years you tend to set certain expectations. Hotel staff very friendly, and room nice and clean and for the price (£60 including breakfast for 2), very well worth the money. The only issue was the heat, room very traditional so no air con in the room that we were staying in. Breakfast was lovely, and the sausages a must. Would stay there again.

Myself and my husband got married at The Hotel Victoria last week and we cannot say a bad word against the hotel. If you are looking to book your wedding at this venue you will not be disappointed!
I knew the hotel would deliver as my Mum was married here two years previously.
Rachael the Events Coordinator has helped us with our dream day for over two years. She was readily on hand to recommend local services such as a Photographer, Chocolate Fountain provider and also someone to do our chair covers.
The staff are attentive, happy and polite. They really do go the extra mile to help you with anything you need.
Hotel wise - we love it! We stayed in a beautiful room with a lovely welcome tray, they had even given us a wedding present personalised by the Hotel Victoria!
The food is lovely, you can expect anything from fresh fish to steaks. They often hold themed evenings and Christmas parties and I've heard nothing but glowing reviews.
I would recommend the Hotel Victoria to absolutely everyone whether you are staying for a coastal break, looking to host an event or even attend an event.
Thank you to everyone who made our wedding day so special. There are too many of you to name but special thanks to Rachael and Adam.
x

Room Tip: Sea views rooms are amazing, we had 209 and it was beautiful.

Myself and my partner had our wedding at the hotel on the 10th May and if your thinking of having yours there go and book. we can not rate this hotel highly enough it seems bad we can only give them 5 out of 5. the hotel victoria took care of our wedding perfectly and helped us both to have a day we will never forget. our event co-ordinator Rachael was fantastic from the first time we met her to the wedding itself. Rachael made everything so easy and all our requests were met shes an asset to this hotel. the hotels food is excellent and its rooms are stunning with the two i stayed in having views over the sea. all the staff here are excellent from the front desk to waiters and waitress and bar staff all very proffessional. special mention to adam who took over from rachael in the evening hes a top bloke and always smiles. Hotel victoria thank you so much once again and we will certainly be bk on our anniversary to see you all. Aaron and Leah

We booked this hotel again as a 'end of honeymoon' treat so to celebrate our wedding at Easter (we have been celebrating for a month now !!). Upgraded to a 3rd Floor Seaview room, which came with a 4 poster bed and a Jacuzzi in the bathroom. Originally, we had received a special 'Mediterranean' menu for the Coast restaurant, through the post which had prompted the booking.
Room was again spacious, clean, with tea making facility. A fruit bowl and bottled water were also present.
We had booked a table in the restaurant for an evening meal and again were not disappointed with the food quality or quantity, it was fresh tasty and served by polite helpful caring staff in a nice ambiance.
Overall, a lovely little hotel with traditional values, which is a rare thing nowadays. We certainly will be back again, in fact we have booked for a new years break already - Well done Hotel Victoria.

Room Tip: Upgrade to a Sea View room, when and if the sun rises, you will have a great view of it !!
