This hotel was very reasonable in terms of staff, room & location. Mind you no more than I would expect for a double room costing £100.
The room was quite big with a space (we called it the hallway!) between bedroom and bathroom. Very acceptable.
Breakfast was fine but now, I am afraid, the one negative.
We had invited some friends to dinner at the hotel. The waiters were very friendly, attentive and humorous which made for a very relaxed evening. However, if the meal had been a tad better it would have been a PERFECT evening.
We think they must have made the chips from new potatoes because they were un-eatable. And that's with the help of three bottles of Argentinian red!
Nice walk along the front and, I am afraid to confess, lovely fish & chip lunch at the rival Hotel Hatfield which we are keen to sample.
Unfortunately rain spoilt play a bit.

Room Tip: As usual sea view would be nice.

Stayed here for 2 nights with a group of friends. On arrival the staff were friendly and welcoming. I had paid for a single room but ended up with a double (no extra charge). It was clean & comfortable. Hair dryer was provider along with shampoo, shower gel, soap & Fresh clean towels. I needed to use an iron & this was free of charge and delivered to my room. We had dinner here and you get a massive meal for your money. I had burger and chips for £9 and couldn't eat all of it! Breakfast the following morning was super and again faultless. Would defiantly stay here again.

We had a wonderful overnight stay here, taking advantage of their Super Sunday offer where you get a 3 course lunch, afternoon tea, 3 course dinner, overnight stay and breakfast all included in the price. Such amazing food and wonderful food in the restaurant as well as amazing sea views. We'd recommend upgrading to one of their sea view rooms for a truly relaxing stay.

Room Tip: Pay a bit extra for a room with a sea view.

An organisation i'm a member of were having a meeting in Lowestoft and chose the hotel for lunch. The day was a Sunday we were given a menu in advance to choose from. The menu was varied with a good selection. I made my choice of beef which was an excellent amount and succulent and good selection of veg. My fellow diners fared well with with their choices too and everyone thoroughly enjoyed what they had selected. The sweets were of excellent quality too. I think anyone thinking of holidaying in Lowestoft or in the area you wont do much better than dining here.

Only here overnight for business - this place is literally faulty towers. Went into the cranky elevator to go three floors up which took about a whole minute. Went into my room 302 to find a single bed in a small room and a bathroom the same size as the room itself. No natural light as there is the tiniest window with the great view of a wall. Went down to complain and ask for another room to be laughed after complaining I am in a single room and told they were fully booked. Would never come back here.

Having booked a room through Groupon I then upgraded for a sea view and was delighted on arrival that the room was lovely with a large ensuite bathroom.
Rooms were very clean and well stocked, views were amazing. Great service in the dining room and breakfast was lovely. Highly recommended

Room Tip: Upgrade to a sea view
