We were looking for a relaxing wheelchair accessible place that 5 of us could share, was by the sea and close to the Lowestoft promenade. We found exactly that at Sea view.
Front door has a tricky door frame to negotiate but once inside there is plenty of room available. Had to rearrange a couple of pieces of furniture to make the ground floor bedroom work but the wardrobe was on wheels and beds relatively light which made this a very simple job.
Once done the ground floor was perfectly accessible with a short ramp to allow access into the back garden. Ground floor wet room a good size too (no chair in the shower though)
There is ramp access just outside of the house to get down to beach level and the promenade provides a wheelchair accessible walk right through to Lowestoft habour.
Great litte place to stay, thanks Eline
A very enjoyable stay at Sea View House with perfect weather. Perfect position and convenient for Great Yarmouth and Norwich.
My son booked this for a family weekend away. The house had just the right amount of beds to suit us. The kitchen dining area was very spacious. The 2 lounges gave plenty of space for us all to sit. My grandaughter loved the dolls house. The house was very well equiped for children and babies and the travel cot and highchair saved us carrying more than we needed. The front outlook was lovely as you had the quaint old church with the sheep keeping the grass down and the sea view. The beach below was excellent for walking and kite flying and a fairly easy walk into Lowestoft if you wanted sand or other amenities. The house does need a bit of a refurb/paint but was nice and clean. The only small thing that I thought was wrong was that the garden hadnt been mowed and the garden definitely needed some tlc to make the place look just that little bit better. We all had a great time and would recommend if you want a home from home in a peaceful location.
The house was just as expected. Clean and warm! We had all we needed for a brief stay. The kitchen diner was a great size. View of the church (and sheep!) and sea were lovely.
Cracking house, beautiful position. Well equipped. Very helpful owner over complicated arrangement s about the letting
It was lovely to see the sea from the front of the house and if we'd been luckier with the weather it would have been perfect. Nice clean house with all facilities - we did miss a mirror in the downstairs bedroom and there was nowhere to put things in the shower but these are minor quibbles. Upstairs seemed fine, though our daughter complained about the double bed being hard.
Because of the rain and storms we didn't get onto the beach but it looked lovely and we enjoyed the walk into Lowestoft and found enough interesting places in the area to occupy us.
Stayed in Sea View house with my son, daughter and grandchildren - 2 teenage girls and a 10 year old boy. The house was well equipped and spacious and we enjoyed the views, the walks into Lowestoft and the large garden. We did not use the car very much as we could walk to the Co-op and, for those who liked night walks, the 24 hour ASDA. Africa Alive was a fascinating, if expensive, day out and Carlton Marshes was a doable circular walk. An enjoyable stay.
