“Nice new venue”
Reviewed 17 June 2014

The building has been developed to a high standard, it has capacity for over 800 but to be honest that would be very cosy! The atmosphere during the concert was good, although the sound in my opinion not great but that was due to the level not the venue. Huge bar area, no problem getting served, drinks a bit pricey, did get a bit warm in there, not sure it has any A/C. There is ample free car parking nearby so that should not be an issue. Overall wish the owner success and hope to see many more bands at the venue.

“Lowestoft is the new Norwich”
Reviewed 4 May 2014

This venue is simply amazing for live music. Great intimate venue with a good view of the bands. Great programme of live bands, no rip off bar prices and friendly but efficient security. If Carlsberg did venues they would be like this. Stylish décor and a large bar area bands will appreciate the high spec house PA and lights and decent stage area. Holds around 900 this is the blueprint for 21st century live music venues, I see major bands using it for warm up shows in the future, it would be superb for that. The Claremont pier complex (of which this is part) includes the Edge Bar downstairs from the venue, a fish and chip restaurant/ coffee shop which is excellent, ice creams and donuts amusements and even a roller skating rink so arrive early if coming from away plenty to amuse you before showtime. It is also next to an amazing beach. To sum up it's simply the best venue in East Anglia for live music.

“Just what the town needed”

Have seen several gigs here, and have to say its a great venue. Very intimate and you get close up to the performers, so excellent for taking pictures. Providing they keep the good quality of bands turning up it should be a success.

“Best gig venue in East Anglia”
Reviewed 8 April 2014

Opening in December 2013, I have attended many gigs here including The Darkness, Geno Washington and The Ram Jam Band, Neville Staples, Toploader and The Rezillos. The venue is AMAZING! There is nothing like it anywhere. It is huge, very well styled, black, cream and bronze throughout. It takes 900 people per gig. This is a top quality venue. I can recommend this venue for bands and fans alike.
