I had no issues with this hotel, yes its basic, but I found it clean and the bed was quite comfortable. The shower was excellent, the towels fresh & soft. Much better than some other places I have stayed in.

The breakfast was cooked just the way i wanted it, as was my young ladies. We would stay here again 100%

The penthouse is huge but disorganised. Does not feel clean, crisp crumbs on the floor..the staff are ok but young and untrained. It took over an hour to get a beeping battery changed in the smoke alarm. On arrival I was given a voucher for there partner restaurant bar and canteen for a free all you can eat meal. Even though it was free I choose not to stop after looking at the food or lack of food.

I'm thinking of somewhere to start it's awful. The room is that small you couldn't swing a cat, no air con hence window open and hearing everything that goes past
and most enjoyable some chavvy kids Many of the good reviews on here seem to be on the wrong page the suites seem a bit better but all in all a nightmare. If you want no sleep and to stay in somewhere that stinks of damp this is the one for you

I don't even know where to start! Write up totally misleading! It was a box room that stunk of damp. Room was so small you couldn't fully open toilet door. Bed was hideous!!

Due to being underneath the bar & canteen you got no sleep. You felt like you were partying with the downstairs guests! We even recorded it on our phones!! No staff around to help us the next morning when we complained! We were due to stay the night after too due to a wedding we had come for but decided we would rather drive the 2 & 1/2 journey home than stay another night!!

We arrived on the Sunday to find that 2 women were in the room watching TV. There's was not working so they gave the room code to them. The don't have key system just codes that never change umm. The next night returned to find a guy asleep in my bed. Returned to reception explained. They didn't believe me. They had relet my room with all my items in the room. This place and staff are a disgrace and should be closed down Please don't book here it's awful dirty and unsafe

Myself and other half enjoyed our two night stay at the winelodge however we had to change rooms on arrival as we were not happy with the room, far too small and hot so we we're put in room 1 on the ground floor much bigger great power shower small TV but that was the only moan. The card to get in our room wasn't working which was dealt with very promptly the staff here are lovely shame they have to do so many jobs at once. Dinner is great value for money and breakfast nice with a good choice. You can park easily off-road close by. All in all a nice seaside stay for those on a bit of a budget.

Well we're do I start. We have just this evening returned from a 3 night lovely stay in this very clean and very nice friendly B&B. What a very warm welcome we had after a 7 hour car journey that should of only taken 2hrs. Due to heavy latitude traffic.
Bethany has been there for us from day one right through to checking out. Room every thing we were looking for sea view to very comfortable night sleep. Very smart room. Room no6. Lovely big Windows. Power shower. Very comfy bed. Fresh towels every day. Lovely breakfast every morning and what a lovely selection. A choice of full English breakfast Inc hot drink and orange juice. Or continental breakfast or even scrambled egg on toast. Lovely and hot very quick service.
We have thoroughly enjoyed and can't wait to return again next year for the latitude festival weekend. Thank you very much for every thing Bethany. Loved every minute. Water in east Anglia very hard. We live in Colchester Essex doesn't matter how often you descale your kettle, shower surround its a constant battle. Doesn't mean this is dirty. For those who read the previous notes. Please please don't.

Room Tip: As we stayed mid summer lots of seagulls making lots of noise in morning. But that is all the fun of...
