We had a family dinner on a Saturday evening to try out this restaurant. Booked last minute.
The place was busy, Lovely atmosphere and ambience
Staff made sure to welcome us as soon as we walked in. Massimo was delightful to chat with. He I would guess is the owner and was so incredibly warm and welcoming.
Had a pre-dinner Cocktail at the bar before being led to the table.
The specials board was well explained by a friendly member of staff.
I enquired about the different types of starters. I was asked what we liked and was then told to leave it with them. The food was next level, what came out was incredible, and certainly did not disappoint. A large platter of Gamberoni all’Aglio (Garlic Prawns) Calamari Fritti, Bruschetta al Pesto e Pomodoro, (Garlic Bread with Cheese & Tomato), Funghi Farciti (Baked Mushrooms with courgettes), Calamari Fritti and Parmigiana di Melanzane (baked aubergine and courgettes in a Parmesan sauce)
Even though we were nearly full from the starters, we had already ordered a range of different meals for the main. What fabulous food! Fairly simple Italian cuisine done exceptionally well, all served with its own tray of vegetables.
For the Desserts, Kids shared a homemade Lemon Cheesecake.
Overall, the staff were very attentive. The food absolutely incredible, cooked to perfection and served with a smile. The drinks flowed nicely, the Pinot Grigio that was recommended was one of the best that I have tried.
Certainly one of the best Italian restaurants We've dined in.
Thank you for the most wonderful night
