We had an evening flight from East Midlands booked & decided to take a leisurely trip to the airport and stop on the way for lunch. We arrived an hour earlier than we had booked which was no problem at all for the pub. The tall guy behind the bar was very friendly and we settled in the bar to have a drink before our meal. The food was really nice, the service excellent and the food and drinks reasonably priced. All, in all we spent a relaxing two and a half hours there before leaving for the airport. We would definitely go back if the opportunity arises.

This was booked for a family party of 11 (including a baby who couldn't partake of the cuisine) for a birthday meal. It was a lovely meal served by very friendly and helpful staff. Menu (Sunday)is not extensive but it is all freshly prepared and of great quality.
The restaurant is family friendly and they have a lovely garden for the children to play in when the weather is as glorious as it was today.
A lovely time and will be returning either as a family, with friends
or as a couple.

We had an amazing Sunday lunch at the Windmill Inn - the food, atmosphere and service were second to none and all in a wonderful character pub with contemporary touches. We sat outside and had drinks in the sun and then moved inside for our lunch. We were a group of 10 adults and we were delighted that the food was served together, was delicious and staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. Thank you.

We had a lovely Sunday lunch here. We were a large party and had miscalculated our numbers. They accommated the extra numbers even though we were already a large group. The food was delicious and very reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend it.

This venue was recommended but did not live up to expectations. The food was uninspiring and somewhat bland. This might have just about been ok save for the fact that we were seated in an area with a large party with children d enough to know better but with no table manners whatsoever. - I realise this in itself isn’t the fault of the venue but it just compounded a very underwhelming experience. We won’t be returning.
