On our visit to Tatton park for the flower show we found this little treasure..What a lovely friendly guest house this is, John and Rosa are genuinely excellent hosts, who made sure we had everything we could possibly want. The whole place was spotlessly clean and cosy. The Inn they recommended for an evening meal.. The Bulls Head .. was very good, first class food but very busy we found 18.30 a great time for a visit as they don't do bookings!! but there was plenty of room for us at that time.. only 10 minutes away from the Hinton.

Room Tip: Rooms at the back have a lovely view of the garden and are quieter than the front which face the mai...

Just returning from a trip up north and stayed at this lovely guest house. All reviews are true, the owners are very welcoming, rooms clean, lovely garden to sit and enjoy a drink before ambling to a local pub, bulls head, and in the evening going into knutsford. Breakfast in the morning was superb! Choice of fresh fruit and yoghurts and choice of breakfast which was fabulously cooked! Would definitely recommend and will stay again when we are coming up north again!

This is an extremely comfortable guest house where we were made very welcome from the outset. John and Rosa were great hosts-very friendly and welcoming. The rooms were lovely with a lot of attention to detail and finishing touches which made our stay all the more pleasant. Situated in a nice location, there is good access, parking and a lovely garden. Breakfast was excellent with a vast choice of cereal, fruit and yogurt etc. as well as John's delicious full traditional English. Nothing was too much trouble and we will definitely be returning. Highly recommended.

Very enjoyable stay - excellent accommodation (en-suite bathroom modern and pristine).

Delicious breakfast with considerable choice: full English breakfast (vegetarian option), cereals, toast, yoghurts and wonderful array of fruit - melon, pineapple, prunes, grapefruit, blueberries, strawberries, apricots.

Highly recommended.

Had a warm welcome from John and Rosa. Room exactly what we needed - comfortable and quiet. Good to be welcomed with tea and biscuits in the garden. Lovely ample breakfast and warm, friendly hosts. Will definitely stay there again if in the area.

Room Tip: Triple room ideal for family with one child, especially a teenager, as it is double and single aroun...

It's all about the warmth and caring that you feel from John and Rosa. You feel very much at home with them. I was only in for the one night and their hospitality was boundless. The included breakfast was superb with a wonderfully prepared full English fry up including baked beans, mushrooms and fried bread if you wish. Assorted cereal, fruits and yogurt are all ready and waiting for you.
I stayed in room 2. A substantial, front facing, bay windowed , King bedded en-suite. It couldn't have been set up any nicer. A small flat screen TV is on the left wall. The pillows and bed were both firmer than I am used to (at home I have a gel mattress and down pillows) so I wasn't as comfortable as many would be. The fully carpeted en-suite was quite sizable also with a full tub and stand up shower.
There is free Wi-Fi throughout the property and plenty of parking.
Jon had recommended a pub just a 10 minute walk away, for a bite and libation and it was a great call. The walk itself was charming with a few lovely homes and cottages to view. A pretty bit of countryside.
Transportation was also arranged for me, by private car, to Manchester airport. (£25) The ride is 20 minutes and the charming driver and his large Audi, made for an enjoyable exploration of the area.
