“Worth visiting”
Reviewed 19 August 2014

This excellent museum was arranged in chronological order from prehistory right through to the present day.So much to see and read, all of it well presented. Then just when I was beginning to feel tired,I am not young, there were portable folding chairs to sit on and even take around the rest of the museum with me .I made good use of them.
Amazingly this wonderful museum is free, the reception staff were most helpful.

“Worthwhile Visit”
Reviewed 13 August 2014 via mobile

We visited the museum on the last day of our holiday which was perhaps a mistake as it gave us lots of ideas for places to visit in Shetland. The museum is on two floors and has lots of interesting exhibits which highlight Shetland through the ages. Well worth a visit.
