Owner description: The Parish Church, is the oldest building in Hinckley and Grade 2* listed. It has stood on this site for nine hundred years. Now open every day, serving coffee, tea and cakes, this historic church is worth a visit. The tower and spire can be seen for miles and inside there is a 17th century town chest, memorials to local people and some spectacular stained glass windows. Guide Book Available.

I am biased, my daughter was married here.....BUT....even before that lovely event, the church was visited (from Wales) on numerous occasions for tea and cakes...what can I say except BRILLIANT...in fact having just let the cat out of the bag, suggest more seating will be required for visitors !

Not only is food available but a very good book stall with a wide range of subjects.

The church is clearly well used by the community and that is it's strength. The church is calming and quiet...a great combination...with a bustling cafe :-)

This would never be my first port of call, although I have visited many times due to having to pick someone up from the church. It's OK if all you want is an average cup of tea or coffee and some basic cake choices - they will not set your taste buds tingling but you'll still have money jingling because everything is pretty cheap. The staff are all volunteers and unfailingly welcoming and friendly so can't fault it there. A good place to seek shelter and a hot drink on a rainy day.

My 2yr old and I visit when we can, we sit on the comfy sofa eating cake and soaking in the calming atmosphere. The church is used for so many types of events its really diverse and welcoming...even to busy nosy young children too which is relief :) and the home make cake is really yummy
