Small farm but the kids love it and right near the farm is a big park for afterwards.

The fish are great and they have a selection of horses.

“Pets Corner is a fantastic Harlow institution that we all love”
Reviewed 28 April 2014

I first went to Pets Corner when my first born daughter was a babe in arms, and I think we have been at least once a month, maybe sometimes once a week. She is now 4 and a half and has an 18 month old brother.

It's a completely free farm, so is never going to compete with the theme park type farms in the area and it isn't going to fill an entire day out, but for somewhere to go regularly for children to learn about animals, let off some steam, it's second to none in Harlow.

We love seeing the litters of piglets growing up, petting Sorcy the Horsy, going nose to nose Graham the Gourami and too many other animals to mention. My daughter loves the axolotls. Look out for the fun days they have there as they are always good.

If you want to you can always go to the Adventure Playground that's a short walk away. My kids always like splashing in the steam there too. It really is a day out staple in Harlow and would recommend to locals and visitors 100%.

“Something for everyone- and its free..!!!”
Reviewed 22 April 2014

Whether you are a Mum, dad, Nan, Grand, Aunt , Uncle whatever..!! you will love Harlow`s very own Pets Corner.

Premises.
Nicely tucked away in the Town Park. `Pets` is a fully functional working farm - There is all sorts of animals, birds, reptiles and fish to meet up close, and even sponsor. Yes there is a farm/animal smell, what do you expect, but there is no mud or dirty shoes to contend with (except when the free roaming, ducks, chickens and Turkeys have their walk about.

The yard is always clean and tidy and animals are treated like royalty. They are cared for very well and if a member of the public has a concern, a member of staff is always there to deal or perhaps explain why some feathers are missing, or why a animal looks under the weather.

Pets always has something going on a `Pig Day` - Meet The animals Day `Horse` Day - this is where you have a chance to learn more about a particular breed. Competitions, Show days, and a small shop to buy a little keepsake of your. Pets also is heavily involved in the rare breeds programme, helping stock regenerate. Even Jimmy Doherty from `Jimmy`s Farm ` has links at Pets and still keeps in contact during his busy schedule.

Staff
I have been going to Pets Corner for many many years. I have always found the staff, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable in the upkeep of their animals they love and care for. Staff are always on hand to give advice of their own animals or even if you may have your own pet problem. They will always try to help or at least find out for you.

You will see Reindeer, Llamas, Horses, Pigs, Sheep, Lizards, Fish, Spiders, Geese, Chickens, Bunnies, Guinea Pigs, Red Poll Cows,

Its a great day out - its free and I will guarantee that you will come away with something you never knew - eg... Do you know how many stomachs a cow has,? Do you know the gestation period of a pig,..?? Do you know what a raddle or a Tupp is.. Go down to Pets Corners and ask the staff - It will be a great day out and like I said ......Whether you are a Mum, dad, Nan, Grand, Aunt , Uncle whatever..!! you will love Harlow`s very own Pets Corne
