As an organiser for a holiday club I took 47 members to Mill Rythe Holiday Village in Hampshire for a five day Turkey and Tinsel break on 4th November 2013 and it was absolutely marvellous. The food was excellent as was the entertainment, accommodation, facilities and everything that was on offer. The rooms were spotlessly clean and comfortable. The staff were very kind and helpful and could not do enough to please those that had booked up such an excellent holiday with them. The entertainment team were first class offering the best entertainment possible and all were very good and just as good as any West End show seen by my members. We are returning again in January 2914 which proves what a wonderful venue it is.

Room Tip: It is well worth paying for an upgrade as the upgraded rooms are excellent for those wanting that extra little bit of luxury.

Wow June that review is fantastic so I'd like to say a big thank you to you for posting it. Most people reading your review won't actual realise how difficult it is to make such a large number of guests happy with all aspects of their holiday so naturally I am feeling very chuffed to see that we have achieved exactly that!

Although Mill Rythe is a typical chalet type holiday village it is still very good value for money. The Chalets are comfortable and the upgrade ones have had all the bathrooms updated, most have showers. The only complaint was that the heating was switched off at night and also during the afternoon, I think you should be able to control your own heating at all times, not controlled by someone else. The food was also very good with a good choice from salad bar to omelettes to specials as well as set dinner.
The entertainment was excellent, we went when they had just started the Christmas shows and the one we saw on the Friday was lovely, the outfits and singing were lovely and the false snow falling made it seem magical. The entertainment team also did a great Vera Lynn tribute which was very well produced. Value for money as long as you don't expect 4* hotel accommodation this is an excellent short break holiday.

Room Tip: Go for an upgrade room as these appear to have been updated recently. Also some of the chalets can be quite a walk from the main entertainment area so if you have trouble walking then make sure where your chalet is.

And another smashing review with 4 out of 5 stars awarded to us so thank you for that Lillian. Just to let you know that I have taken on board your comments about the heating but do have to tell you that if the temperature drops to 10 degrees or below the heating does automatically come back on!

We booked for the Irish Music Festival weekend and as it was my first time, was not sure what to expect. I needn't have worried as it was one of the best weekends we have ever had. The bands were excellent and everyone was very friendly. The staff were always pleasant and very helpful. The food was mass produced but of a reasonably high standard. Our waiter, Lucian was amazing! He was so quick and very efficient. I wish all waiters were like him. For the money we paid it was very good value all around. I would thoroughly recommend this Holiday Park.

Our weekend was really very nice. Evening shows very entertaining : The Beetles, UB 40, Abba
As our room was booked for us we did not know that we could have choosen a room. The room was OK standard as we were there for only three nights
Food: Breakfast and dinner were excellent
Staff: Everyone very accommodating and very nice.Night security personnel was very nice.
Health suite comprise of a sauna, small swimming pool and jacuzzi. Would like to see a water fountain in there for hydration during the sauna.
Despite it was a weekend of rain and cold we still went out for very long walks. Plenty to do during the day.

Room Tip: To request a room nearer to the restaurant and health suite. I think that these rooms cost more. The whole resort is very quiet.

Great review Gulsie and pleased to read you were able to get outside despite the rain! I have received some really good feedback regarding the entertainment that has been on offer this year so thrilled to learn that it's still being well received. I will pass on your suggestion regarding a water fountain to the powers that be!

Thanks for your smashing review and especially your comments regarding one of our Housekeeping team. I will ensure that she gets to hear how pleased you were with her efforts as mostly this work goes unnoticed unless of course it is not done properly!
