“Fabulous little B&B”
Reviewed 28 August 2014

Came here with my husband as a surprise trip for my mother in law who holidayed here before and after the war. Right from the start Jill the owner was so helpful. We had the balcony room which overlooks the lovely gardens. It has sunbeds and a table to sit on and enjoy the view. A small bottle of wine is provided for each person along with tea and coffee. There are also lots of toiletries if you need then. Jill provided us with suggestions of places to visit and recommended a lovely restaurant the Olive Leaf to eat in the evening. Breakfast was a magnificent affair. Hubby had the full English which was huge and we had the scrambled eggs with smoked salmon. A truly memorable stay. Oh and I must not forget Jane who works with Jill. Thanks so much to both of you for a lovely break.

Room Tip: Balcony room was delightful and worth the extra few pounds.

Stayed here with by brothers for my sister's wedding, and it was a perfect location and great attention to detail. Breakfast was amazing and really filling (just what we needed to sustain us for the day!). Thanks for looking after us!

We couldnt have been better looked after, everyone was so helpful and friendly. Breakfast was abundant, excellent and nothing was too much trouble.

The selection of toiletries, sun creams etc available to use was amazing - this B&B is so much better than staying at a hotel where everything is so impersonal (and noisy).

The peace and quiet was wonderful, lovely house and setting, we stayed in the Blue Room, which was cool after the heat of the day.

Well worth a visit

My fiancée and I stayed here in April, and I have to say, with most B&B's being hit and miss, that this is by far the best one I have stayed in thus far.

We had the balcony room which carried beautiful countryside views.

It was spotlessly clean, had a mini fridge to keep things cool, a couple of bottles of wine for the evening and breakfast to die for.

The host was very warming and knowledgeable of the area and local eateries.

It represents fantastic value and superb levels of comfort.

Very easy to see why this is number 1 on Trip Advisor, I cannot speak highly enough of Copeswood house.

We will be back...

Room Tip: Balcony room is the one.

We stayed a couple on nights in the Balcony Room and found the place very peaceful. Its setting is a little way off the beaten track, which was very welcome as Hayling Island is a popular place. The room was cosy and comfrotable. The breakfast magnificent. We unfortunately left a couple of things behind, but the owners were brilliant, in that they packed up the items for us and posted them back home. That is what I call service.

My husband & I enjoyed a two night stay in the balcony room, weather was good so we were able to sit outside several times & enjoy the view over the garden & field beyond. The room itself was comfortable & well equipped. The en suite shower room was very small but OK for a couple of nights. Breakfast was lovely, good choice, freshly cooked to order & we enjoyed a chat with our host & other guests. Nice relaxed atmosphere, felt easy about strolling in the garden & would have used the gazebo & lounge if we had not had the balcony.

Room Tip: Can recommend the balcony room.
