Plenty of parking nearby and easy to find,on edge of Halifax centre.
Take your own alcohol with NO corkage charge, as restaurant is not licensed. Soft drinks and tap water are readily available at very reasonable prices.
Restaurant is quite large and can accommodate large groups as tables are quickly moved to suit various party sizes. Seating is well laid out and moderately comfortable though seat padding could be more comfortable. There is always plenty of room for each diner to enjoy their meal comfortably.
The restaurant is buffet style and diners can join the buffet as soon as their table has been allocated. Diners are encouraged to select a few items at a visit and get a fresh plate and cutlery for each subsequent visit. Tables are well attended and all staff appear to be well trained at delivering a high level of customer service. The buffet items are presented in individual containers with serving utensils for each and are clearly labelled as to their description. The menu seems to cover just about every Indian dish you can think of and all are freshly prepared and replenished quickly when running low.
There is a central salad bar for all the cold menu items, keeping them well away from the hot food selection. There is also a reasonable selection of sweet items and ice cream.

The restaurant is extremely popular, having only been open for a short while, and so there is a polite notice asking diners to stay for not more than 90 minutes. This is a reasonable request considering that most people are in and out in less than an hour. Even so, you are never made to feel rushed, it is just that you can get started so quickly, you don't really need more than an hour and a half.

The quality of all the dishes I have tried is very good, with all hot food being kept at correct temperatures by the special serving containers with under heating. Naan breads are beautifully soft and fresh, chips are of a good standard, and the choices of rice are cooked to perfection.

The current price of £9.95 per adult diner is exceptionally good value given the range of choice and "eat as much as you like" menu.

The only downside I can comment on would be that there are occasional rowdy diners who are inconsiderate of others right to enjoy their meal in a reasonably quiet atmosphere.

This is in no way predictable by the management nor something that should detract from their excellent service.

Well worth a visit and certainly worth travelling to Halifax to enjoy!

All the food was lovely and a good choice. Freshly prepared and not left out ages like you can find at some buffets. Only downside was that a tad rushed to get you out and the next people in and the prices have gone up .
