What a lovely day out we had at Ogden Water. At the moment there is some work being done so some of the paths are out of use but this did not spoil a lovely walk round the reservoir. Then we went to Boggarts Brig for some lunch. A beautifully clean café, and the food was excellent. I had ham and poached egg on a toasted muffin with some sort of sauce (can't remember what it was) and a small side salad, a pot of tea all for less than £6. If you go to Ogden Water make sure you take the trouble to find this café - we had to do a detour because of the on going works - but it is well worth it.
