Brilliant walk set off in sunshine finished in rain, still wonderful views in all directions over the moors Ogden Clough and the wind farms called in the visitor centre for a coffee then walked round the reservoir to add a mile or so to the walk. Super walk in all weather.Toilet facilities available. Small charge for using the car park 50p?

It is lovely to stroll around Ogden water I have been lots of times the only thing that spoils it is the Dog owners who let their dogs off leads and do not clean up after them for that reason we hardly ever go now such a shame

absolutely stunning place to visit, lucky enough to live close by, the perfect place to get away from all the hustle and bustle of daily life and just take in this unspoilt spot of beauty, great for walking, great training ground for runners, ideal on a summers day to take a picnic and enjoy some quality family time with the children getting them away from the playstation/computer games.

This is a nice walk around Ogden Water you have a choice of staying on the path or rambling through the woods. The woods offer interesting sculpture s to look at and find but they are space and average. The downside is that there are quite a few holes in the fencing/barriers that dogs and children can get through putting them in danger of the cold deep water. Parking charge is 50p

I'm a regular visitor to Ogden Water and am never disappointed come rain or shine!

If you've got plenty of time, you can walk up through the woods up to the wind turbines (particularly good if you're a parent and want a quiet evening as it tires the kiddies out).

The cafe/information point serves hot drinks from a rather superior vending machine and is good value too. You could spend many an afternoon there just as I do!
