Set off from home to attend a flash mob geocache event in Huddersfield but got a call en route that my mothers heating had failed. Diverted to sort out the problem but too late now to go over to castle hill. Had walked past this place on another geoing outing and it looked ok so decided to give it a go. Glad we did Wednesday night steak night 2 decent sized steaks cooked well chips, mushrooms tomatoes and a glass of house wine for £20 excelent value. Beware the pepercorn sauce it nearly blew my head off. Service was good and friendly and food served promptly.
Midweek evening about six couples dining and a few people at the bar. Down side not keen on the wooden platers that the steak served on.
Overall though very pleased and would go again.
