An excellent central location for necessary transport links by rail and bus which we used to meet other family members. Wonderful room and excellent two nights rest. Helpful supportive staff. Good breakfast choices available. Overall good value.

This hotel is ideally placed for a stay in Halifax or to reach out to nearby places, we stayed there to attend a function in Hebden Bridge, it was a good experience. The hotel is approximately 2 years old and so is in good order, our room was quiet and clean and everything was in excellent repair. The bathroom was clean, modern and spacious enough, and there were plenty of mirrors with good lighting all round the room. The entrance is a bit futuristic as it is a big hall with a little lectern like station as the desk. The staff were helpful and friendly, bright and breezy, possibly talking a bit too much when you want to get in your room and relax. Whicn by the way was comfy and quiet and a you did get a good nights sleep.

Breakfast in the attached beefeater was very good - well cooked and plenty of it, drinks were a bit tricky if you did not want coffee, the hot water for the tea was in a large flask which ran out quickly. And there seemed only to be 2 people serving we were seated then left for quite a long time before anyone came to ask for our order, the same happend to the table next to us and the chap got up and went and found a waitress. It seemed like they were doing too many jobs and not just concentrating on the customers.

What stopped this from getting an execellent was the parking it is in the nearby APCOA Broad Street Plaza, they do have special rates but it is a bit complicated to pay (never did find the enter button). surely you could pay for this when booking and a ticket e-mailed out to be printed off and placed in the car, or something simlar to airport carparks with ANPR facilities.

all in all a good place to stay - do try it.

Room Tip: Our room overlooked the car park - not sure what side it was on but it was quiet and away from the p...

From booking in the staff could not do enough for us, they booked taxis and moved people around in the various bedrooms, as our needs required (you cannot guarantee rooms on the same floor with the online booking tool). All the staff asked if we needed any help throughout our stay, even if it was just to open a door. I have stayed in a number of Premier Inns and this set of staff are by far the best I have experienced.
The hotel is situated close to the town centre (2 minute walk) with very good amenities surrounding it (number of quick and easy dinning facilitates), only let down, it does not have its own parking area, but does offer reduced rates in the local shopping multi-storey car park opposite the hotel (£5.20 for 24hrs).
I would use this hotel again if required to staying in the Halifax area.

We stayed at the Premier Inn Halifax for a Wedding. The lady on reception Dee, was excellent. We arrived early and was checked in. Dee was very helpful with our group and explained everything. The room was very clean, lovely bed. Arrived back late - the nightshift was on duty and very polite. We did not hear a thing (near ambulance site) but that might have been the wine! Check out was very simple. Great value for money.

This is a great hotel in a fantastic location right in the centre of Halifax. I've stayed here a few times at weekends and the staff are always helpful and friendly. Only gripe is that they can be a bit interfering when you try to check in - if you provide computers for guests to do this themselves, leave them to it unless they ask for help! I have also been grilled when coming back from a night out, but I appreciate the security measures. Even though the hotel central and is bordered by a big roundabout, the rooms I've stayed in have always been quiet. The rooms are usually very clean and are also spacious and comfortable. The shower is excellent. Parking costs £5.20 per 24 hours for hotel guests in the car park next door. I'd advise booking as soon as possible, because rates do get a lot higher nearer the time.

We have just returned from our night in a family room at this hotel. What a fantastic place to stay, great location, had a fab nights sleep, we didn't hear a sound despite being in the centre of town and it being a Friday night. Must give special recognition to Keith at the reception desk, he really is a credit to your company giving us a fantastic welcome and very very helpful. Top notch!

The premier inn was spotlessly clean, the staff were very welcoming, the room was very comfortable, really enjoyed our stay. The hotel was very peaceful and we had a good nights sleep. There were eating facilities either in the hotel or there was a wide variety of restaurants just outside of the hotel.
