We were out for the day and fancied a nice meal and we called in at the Tower House hotel in Sowerby Bridge near Halifax and we chose the Carvery meal. The food was gorgeous, the meat was cooked superbly and you had other choices as well as all the trimmings. The hotel resteraunt was beautifully decorated, very modern and all the staff were very friendly. If you want a cracking meal for a good price, then I can Definately recommend the Tower House resteraunt Carvery.

We are getting married here in September 2014, we brought my mum on Sunday for a carvery and to get her general opinion on the place.
The food was amazing, all home cooked and none of the microwave stuff some carverys serve up. The staff were very attentive and couldn't do enough for us.
Rob was as always very welcoming and needless to say The Tower House got the royal approval from mum.
They even let us show mum the civil ceremony room and the bridal suite which made her day.

A planned 3 night break in a part of the world we didn't know. Rob's welcome was warm and friendly, we were allocated the Bridal Suite (that's been a while!!) which was very comfortable and well appointed, super bathroom.
The food was so good we ate in each of the 3 nights. Nice pint too. The staff were helpful and friendly.
The hotel seems to have business guests and is busiest in the morning and evening.
If you want a hotel where to can lounge about in the daytime or stroll around the gardens this is not for you but as a base from which to explore during the day it's a gem.

Room Tip: Ask for the bridal suite!!

We have visited the Tower House today with family, to allow them sample the carvery and to have a look around the venue as we have chosen this gorgeous hotel as our wedding venue.

The staff are so friendly and helpful and nothing is to much trouble. They are a credit to the business.

The food is plentiful and delicious. All home cooked and nothing frozen or from a packet like some carverys.

The desserts are to die for. The strawberry cheese cake was especially yummy.

The restaurant was extremely busy so we were glad we had booked in advance.

Thanks once again to all the staff at the Tower House for a fabulous meal.

We have recently held our annual babyballet conference at The Tower House Hotel, where we had 35 franchisees from across the UK descend in pink VW Beetles!
I have to say that Rob and his staff gave us a really memorable day. The room looked great, the food was excellent, the staff couldn’t do enough for us – it was all excellent. The franchisees loved the venue and we are in discussion with them all at the minute regarding next year and whether to make it a 2 day affair as we really had to rush through some topics to get finished in time.
I really could not find fault with any aspect of the day from the Hotels point of view and would highly recommend using the hotel for both business and pleasure.

We've just enjoyed a lovely weekend's stay at The Tower House and would recommend it to anyone looking for a good place to stay, eat or just enjoy a nice pint of Timmy Taylor's in the sun.

My fiancé was won over by the huge breakfast and carvery (especially the beef) and as a vegetarian it's great to find such a wide choice of veggie food. But most of all, we've been so impressed by the friendliness and commitment of Rob, Nicola and their whole team every time we've visited or called.

We'll definitely be back soon!

We had a lovely stay at this hotel, the staff were so friendly and approachable. Our room was spotless and the decor very modern throughout the hotel. The breakfast was delicious as was the Sunday carvery. I really cannot find any fault with this hotel, will definatly recommend and will certainly return in the near future. Thanks for having us!
