Stayed for three nights, Theresa was very nice, good food, good conversation, enjoyed the stay, parking was less enjoyable, on street parking is a pain! As others have said 24hr residents permit is available, but its still a pain

Stayed for five nights at this lovely guesthouse. The welcome was first class with tea and cakes, every day breakfast was wonderful with excellent choice of cereals to add to the cooked breakfast which we looked forward too. Parking was no problem and a 24hr parking permit was available if required. The room we had was on the ground floor, spotlessly clean with a bath and over bath shower with plenty of hot water.I would certainly recommend The Weatherdene to anyone wishing to visit Gt Yarmouth. This guest house is a gem. Theresa is a wonderful hostess and we shall be returning as soon as possible>

Room Tip: All rooms are spotless.

Stayed overnight at the beginning of November 2012. Was a great trip! We had two rooms, since the family room was being redecorated (looking great). The kids thought this was great! Breakfast was fab, with a good choice It's not everyday that you find somewhere that can provide a vegetarian alternative to a cooked breakfast for our vegetarian daughter! Great value for money with a lovely, welcoming owner! Parking was a bonus, since we didn't have to move the car. With a walk under 5 minutes into the town, you can shop till you drop on the Great Yarmouth high street! The seafront wasn't even 30 seconds from the front door of the Weatherdene!

Until we'd been offered a bargain break by another hotel we'd not thought of going to Yarmouth. After checking tripadvisor we decided against this hotel and looked for something else in the same area. We chose the Weatherdene partly because the parking was sorted and partly how it looked. This place captures you even before you go in with hanging baskets and pots of flowers it's lovely. The location is great, the breakfasts are awesome, the owner is mad - well a little crazy but nice. We had a great time and took in the Maritime Festival - some artists were staying in the b&b and it was interesting talking to them. All in all a lovely experience and thanks to Theresa for all the help and advice while we were there.

Only stay one night for the Firework display but is as good as all the other reports say.
Parking is very tight as the free parking around the church is soon filled but the hotel can sort a 24hr permit for the resident parking in the area.
Furniture in our room No 1 ground floor was solid Oak and demonstrate the qualiy and care that is The Weatherdene.
The only improvment could be a pull handle on the wall to hepl us none athletes to rise off the toilet as its hard to get a push off the bath side with the shower screen there and the toilet roll holder and towel rail the other side are not built for the job.
there is one step up to the garden and think it was two at the front door, if you can cope with this you will find a real treat which earns all the good reviews it gets

Such a lovely b&b in an excellent location. The room we stayed in was beautiful and had a great view overlooking the church.
Theresa is one of the nicest b&b owners I've ever met, I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. In fact, I've only been home a few hours and I've already recommended the weatherdene to some of my friends.
