Just had out second stay here! Even though we only live 30miles away its a nice weekend break.
We were first reccomended by friends to stay here, the owners were very welcoming, rooms are beautiful and some have a balcony. Breakfast: As we were the only people staying in the hotel (this was January) we did say that they didnt have to bother with breakfast but they refused and it was lovely!
Second tme both owners remembered us and gave us the same room, the first night my mum had awful heartburn but no worries! Bev (owner) was there with rennies! and the second night (we were very late in) we had a note in our door saying the heating had broken but they had placed a heater in the room for us and then, the next morning when we checked out they very nicely took £20 off our bill because of it, which we didnt expect.
We cant wait for our next stay (which hopefully wont be too long) and would highly reccomend this hotel to anybody.
Great Yarmouth: As we went in winter none of the 'tourist' attractions were open, however, the greyhound racing is a fantasic night out (saturday=family night) and we got some good wins back! lol.
Also the Grosvenor Casino which is just round the corner from the hotel, the food is absolutly amazing! maybe abit expensive (however if you go between January and February and maybe other winter times you can get 2for1 voutchers) but fantasic food.
