Another great stay with Jean & Eddie at The White Lodge. We never look to stay anywhere else, after you've had the best why look elsewhere. Always a delight to stay at this very friendly B&B, nothing is ever any trouble and Jean goes out of her way to make everyone welcome and feel looked after. We stayed in the downstairs room at the front of the house which is (as are all the rooms we have stayed in) a delight as can be seen in the attached photos. It is evident that a lot of thought and effort has gone into the furnishings and decor, most of which Jean has made herself, giving each room it's own character. Everywhere is so clean and each room has tea and coffee making facilities as well as the bonus of free wi-fi. Breakfast as always didn't disappoint, a huge variety of items are always available on a help yourself basis if you don't want the cooked, which we both had, perfect as always. Eddie is always on hand for some friendly banter and no review would be complete without a mention of George, the dog, who is so popular he has his own Fan Club. A return trip is definitely on the cards.

Read excellent reviews before we booked and was delighted to find the reviews were accurate. First impressions are to a high standard and that summed up our stay. Thank you Jean for making us feel so welcome, Easter eggs too! Breakfast was brilliant! George is a delight. Would certainly recommend to friends and family and return.

Jean is amazing the most perfect bubbly and cheerful host you could imagine she has time for everyone and is so helpful.Also does the best breakfast in the world with so much choice on the menu.Also the cleanliness of the rooms are A1.Fresh fruit homemade cakes and beautiful George the dog even gave all staying an Easter egg which was a lovely thought.Cannot thank you enough Jean for such a lovely time Love from Lee Christine Ricky Karen
