“Like visiting a friends house.”

This was my second stay at All Seasons and it shall not be my last. Myself and my family were made to feel thoroughly welcome by Mick and Wendy, and our rooms were lovely as always. Having been to the guest house twice now, and getting to know Mick and Wendy rather well, I must say that certain other users of this website seem to be trading in sour grapes. My experience of All Seasons has never been anything but positive.

Wendy and Ken (Owners), give us a nice warm welcome. The guest house had been
fully re-furbished, newly decorated, clean, just felt like being at home!!

We stayed in room 5, wich is a family room, with a Double Victorian Bed and a single bed, with en-suite shower, flat screen t.v and coffee making facilities.
Every day, all the rooms had replacement, fresh bedding and towels.

'Ken and Wendy', worked hard as a team, especially at breakfast time!!
'Wendy' made a excellent "Tasty, Breakfast", worked hard to cater for the needs of all guest.

'Ken', acted as the "Chamber Maid" providing a excellent service, ensuring customer needs were met, and thrown in the odd joke or two (which made our day!!)

The lounge had ' Large wide screen T.V and 3 comfy sofas'

Ken and Wendy, worked incredibley hard together to ensure that all the guest needs are met!! "Highly Recommended, Excellend value for money"

We were quoted an incorrect price to start with, and had to pay extra due to the Easter break, understandable but we should have been told this from the start. Initially we were going to book through the Great Yarmouth Tourist Info website but the owner encouraged us to book through her by phone instead. We booked two rooms provisionally, a deposit of £25 per room taken, but we had to release one of the rooms in the end (and gave a weeks notice) due to work commitments and we never got the deposit back even though no cancellation policy was explained to us at the time of booking and the room was rebooked. The owners informed us that they'd had to turn people away even though there were only 2 rooms taken when we arrived and there are 8 in total.
The Guest House is a very old building that has been modernised and appears very clean however we were told we had the best room there (No, 8 on the top floor) which had a sea view, the only view we could see of the sea was through the net curtains and it was about a 1 ft gap through the buildings in front!
The furniture is typical miss-match but clean at least. The bathrooms are fitted with a Saniflow system which means when you use the toilet the noise and the smell was unbearable. When you use the shower, water comes up in the bath and vice versa. The water goes cold during your shower. Dont use the liquid soap provided, if you smell the pink stuff you'll understand why!
You take a shower in the mornings right? So you put your towel on the heated rail to dry but as soon as you leave for the day this is switched off so when you come to use the towel in the evening, its still wet. We were there for 4 nights and had to use the same towels throughout our stay.
The heating was turned off even though it was cold in the evenings. We had to shower again before bed to get warm! The bed was the worst thing, we had 4 very uncomfortable nights sleeping on a matress that resembled a park bench with wooden slats. The breakfast was ok, we are certain the Happy Shopper will stay in business for a very long time!
Parking is only out on the street which in the Summer must be a nightmare as there are many guest houses on the same street.
A word of advice too....don't tell the owners anything private about yourself, it gets told to other guests when you haven't even had the chance to get back to your room! We were informed of a German man that had travelled over from Germany to meet a lady he had contacted via the Internet and it hadn't worked out! I'm sure Mr German man would be very happy to know about his lovelife being told to all and sundry! (sorry Mr German man for writing it on here, just proving a point and you are anonymous on here at least, we saw your face!)

The owners are friendly and welcoming and went out of their way to make my stay comfortable and enjoyable. The accommodation is clean, spacious comfortable with all the facilities you would expect along with free Wifi internet access. The rooms are tastefully decorated and finished to an excellent standard. There is also a spacious lounge with Sky TV. The meals are all homemade and were excellent. The guest house is close to the sea front and is within easy reach of the local attractions in Great Yarmouth.

An excellent place to stay whether you are away on business or looking for holiday accommodation. I would highly recommend it.
