Visited for a coffee and Mince Pie.
Very friendly greeting when ordering and helpful staff.
Very good value and good range of refillable coffees.
Accessible toilets on the ground floor but also lift available to toilets on 1st floor which were very clean.

We stayed here on Saturday night the room was lovely, the room was massive and a great shower, the cleaners are so friendly when we was leaving, she pointed me in the right direction as I was going the wrong way to leave, and she even asked us if everything was ok with our room, it’s so nice to see how she cares about her job, she was a credit to you, and we will book again soon, just hope I don’t get lost again lol

By far the biggest rooms we’ve ever had in any hotel ! The bed is huge. Room come with hairdryer, iron and ironing board. The hospitality tray was one of the best we’ve ever had and we’ve stayed in many hotels/B&B !
But what really makes this place stand out from the rest was the cleanliness and friendliness of the housekeeping staff, Sue on the 3rd floor went out of her way to make our stay enjoyable. The room was very clean as were the corridors !
We were checked in by Carly who again was very friendly and welcoming. She served us meals and always had a smile on her face ! Both these members of staff looked after myself and hubby !
Can only highly recommend The Troll Cart . It’s the 1st time staying in a Wetherspoons Hotel and would have no hesitation returning !

Room tip: Room 309 overlooks the station, great fir people watching. Was quiet even though very central.

We arrived early so decided to have a drink before checking in , sat outside , staff member told customers no dogs allowed , other Wetherspoons have allowed dogs when i’ve been there. Car Park in the shopping centre parked there over night cost me £9 make sure you keep the yellow coin.
The room was great , nice and clean and so spacious. Tea, coffee, hot choc, sugar and milk, but our milk was off so could not enjoy a cup of tea in the morning. Iron and ironing board available as well as a hairdryer.
We were kept up all night by the scrapping of tables from downstairs probably because they were cleaning and the noise outside , the room was hot and could not put the air con on as its centrally controlled

Room tip: Great value for money and only a 10 min walk to the beach

The fish and chips were really good. Arrived piping hot. Batter very crisp and the portion size was just right in our opinion. Lager was good and cold. Bar staff were friendly. Very popular pub but plenty of tables.
