we stayed in room 7. small double en-suite. i was a bit sceptical booking but i was not dissapointed whatsoever. as soon as i walked in i could smell the CLEAN BEDSHEETS which is a big thing for me. everywhere was clean. towels were provided. theres a FRIDGE which i think all hotels should have. even the furniture was MODERN which i was not expecting. the bed was so COMFY, everything was just right. the room states small but to be honest i was expecting smaller,it was plenty big enough for us although maybe not enough storage if we were staying longer than a few days. unfortunately we hadnt got time for breakfast in the morning but i hear its very good. i will definitly stay again.
I feel terrible for saying anything bad but if i was the owner i would like to know- shower head needed a wipe (something sticky on it)
shower walls had been wiped but smeary, maybe not a clean cloth?
had to hold kettle down for a while for it to boil by itself :)
very small points but thought i would mention them.

very nice couple stayed there from 2nd aug till 5th , very comfortable room with all facilities you need.

The location is central to everything you need ie beach front , shops etc .
The only thing that was a bit off putting was the state of some of the places around there , ie houses run down pubs etc but thats nothing to do with debbie and shaun.
if i come again would maybe try to get place in a better part of yarmouth.

Very friendly couple, had our own key which was a bonus as could come in and out whenever we wanted, the room no.7 was very clean + tidy and great value for money! Will definitely return again next year.

Went to sunnyside Hotel with a couple of friends to celebrate both our wedding anniversarys. On arrival Debbie greeted us and showed us to our rooms she even carried one of our bags up for us. We stayed in rooms 5 and 7 both where spotlessly clean though small they had everything we needed. You are given your own key so you can come and go as you please. We paid the extra £4 per day to have breakfast which was delicious with a choice of cereals and a full English which Shaun served us. Both Shaun and Debbie where lovely people and we definatly would stay there again. Thank you both for a lovely stay .We would recommend you to our family and friends.

Stayed for a couple of nights in the small very small double ensuite but we booked late and room was as described. The Sunnyside is spotlessly clean and Shaun and Debbie are a real nice helpful couple . Booked in help with bags and a very warm welcome from them both .Room as said was small and spotlessly clean compact ensuite, and comfy beds, very quiet at night so excellent value for money .If you like a good breakfast you will not get better value than the Sunnyside value for money (£4.00 ) full English ,Orange Juice tea or coffee and cereals would cost over double outside in resort .Plenty parking outside in road and after reading some reviews thought we were going to stay in Cairo No problems whatsoever with road or parking .Will stay again when in Yarmouth but next time will book a bigger room !!

Room Tip: Ask for a big room

My husband, daughter and I stayed at the Sunnyside Hotel in Blackpool for my niece's wedding. We were welcomed by the lovely owners Shaun and Debbie. They are a lovely couple who would do anything to help your stay be an enjoyable one. They showed us to our rooms which were lovely and clean with very nice decor. The following morning, we didn't want breakfast too early as we were at the wedding all day and Shaun said it would be no problem doing breakfast a little later for us. Breakfast I must say was absolutely gorgeous, well the worth the additional £4.00. We had a room key and a front door key so we could just come and go as we pleased. All in all, we had a lovely long weekend and would definately recommend this to anyone!

Was taken to our room which was a twin room, And i had booked a double. Room was more like a contractors room then a couples room. We had room 3 which is nowhere as good as rooms 1 & 2 which were next door. Room was clean and a nice size thou, Outside was well kept, But the rest of the street is the pits. Pub on the corner is a mess and you should avoid it at all costs. Drunk people outside most nights. Breakfast was good, But if you want to change it from day to day let them know, As the same will be served up everyday. All in all a nice place to stay, But the street it,s in lets it down badly. I visit Yarmouth 3 time s a year, But will not use this B & B again, but only because of the street it is in.

Room Tip: Nice place but there are much better to be had in Great Yarmouth And in a far better class of street...
