At first I was a bit dubious as some of the area is a bit run- down, but needn't have worried as all was fine for our 2 night stay, Sunnyside itself is a welcome ray of sunshine on the street with multicoloured flowers everywhere a lovely welcome indeed, and from the owners also.
Our Large double en-suite room was at the front of the property, it was a good size and bright / cheery. Loved the fact it had 2 tub chairs , coffee tables & fridge + a floor standing fan! I was delighted with that as the weather was very warm, we used it a lot.
I could be picky about a couple things but won't be as nothing was that much of an issue.
All in all great value for money & nice to have the room only choice :)

This B+B is a real gem! It's very close to the beach and the Hippodrome Circus, as well as the Marine Pub - which seems to be open all hours but isn't loud or rowdy. Shaun and Debbie are very welcoming and the establishment is very very clean. This is our second visit and there will definitely be more.

Room Tip: Seagulls are very noisy wherever you stay!

we stayed in room 7. small double en-suite. i was a bit sceptical booking but i was not dissapointed whatsoever. as soon as i walked in i could smell the CLEAN BEDSHEETS which is a big thing for me. everywhere was clean. towels were provided. theres a FRIDGE which i think all hotels should have. even the furniture was MODERN which i was not expecting. the bed was so COMFY, everything was just right. the room states small but to be honest i was expecting smaller,it was plenty big enough for us although maybe not enough storage if we were staying longer than a few days. unfortunately we hadnt got time for breakfast in the morning but i hear its very good. i will definitly stay again.
I feel terrible for saying anything bad but if i was the owner i would like to know- shower head needed a wipe (something sticky on it)
shower walls had been wiped but smeary, maybe not a clean cloth?
had to hold kettle down for a while for it to boil by itself :)
very small points but thought i would mention them.

very nice couple stayed there from 2nd aug till 5th , very comfortable room with all facilities you need.

The location is central to everything you need ie beach front , shops etc .
The only thing that was a bit off putting was the state of some of the places around there , ie houses run down pubs etc but thats nothing to do with debbie and shaun.
if i come again would maybe try to get place in a better part of yarmouth.

Went to sunnyside Hotel with a couple of friends to celebrate both our wedding anniversarys. On arrival Debbie greeted us and showed us to our rooms she even carried one of our bags up for us. We stayed in rooms 5 and 7 both where spotlessly clean though small they had everything we needed. You are given your own key so you can come and go as you please. We paid the extra £4 per day to have breakfast which was delicious with a choice of cereals and a full English which Shaun served us. Both Shaun and Debbie where lovely people and we definatly would stay there again. Thank you both for a lovely stay .We would recommend you to our family and friends.

Stayed for a couple of nights in the small very small double ensuite but we booked late and room was as described. The Sunnyside is spotlessly clean and Shaun and Debbie are a real nice helpful couple . Booked in help with bags and a very warm welcome from them both .Room as said was small and spotlessly clean compact ensuite, and comfy beds, very quiet at night so excellent value for money .If you like a good breakfast you will not get better value than the Sunnyside value for money (£4.00 ) full English ,Orange Juice tea or coffee and cereals would cost over double outside in resort .Plenty parking outside in road and after reading some reviews thought we were going to stay in Cairo No problems whatsoever with road or parking .Will stay again when in Yarmouth but next time will book a bigger room !!

Room Tip: Ask for a big room
