The staff were so friendly, the food was beautifully cooked and the atmosphere very laid back. Chef came and checked that the food was OK for us.....which was a nice touch. Very reasonably priced and WILL definitely go there on a regular basis.

“Beautiful Cafe! Yummy food!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 19 June 2014 via mobile

We visited Henrys today for my birthday after seeing it on here, we had two afternoon teas between 4 of us and it was absolutely beautiful! All freshly made and so yummy! The homemade pizza is especially tasty! We were so full we took home a doggy bag but the cake didn't last very long as it was so nice. The whole cafe is bright, cheerful and welcoming! Couldnt advise a better place to visit!

“So quaint, food delish and such a friendly family run business”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 17 June 2014

My family and I went to Hooray Henrys in the half term 4 generations of us my parents my daughter and my granddaughter. My dad had fish and chips, (we were right opposite the sea after all), my mum, husband and I shared an afternoon tea comprising of a selection of wonderfully fresh sandwiches, sausage rolls, tiny pasties, home made scones with a side dish of jam and clotted cream and numerous home made cakes that were delicious. My husband was so overwhelmed by how good the chocolate brownies that the lovely lady owner gave him a few in a little doggy bag. My daughter had fresh roll and my granddaughter went for a plate of chips with a milkshake. All of us were of the same opinion, the food is fantastic. The restaurant is so lovely and quaint, like stepping way back in time. The family who run the business are all really lovely people. They have not owned the business very long. I really hope that they do very well in their venture, they truly deserve to. I will definitely visit again next time I am in Great Yarmouth

“Average Food”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 31 May 2014

Ditsy little Henrys. Colourful interior decorating with theme, down to the waitresses dress. Creative use of a small space. Very friendly prompt service, but let down by the scones which were too small and so was the milkshake for the price. The scones were awful…small, dry and definitely not fresh. Perhaps another dish would have scored better but no more than 3 out of 5 here.

“We'll worth the trip lovely people”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 29 May 2014 via mobile

Eight of us rocked up to Henry's on a very wet Tuesday for a late lunch. The place itself is refreshing against the backdrop of most seafront places in Great Yarmouth. They had opened on the Tuesday as it was half term not expecting to be busy but had been hammered. They had run out of so much but they swopped things on the cream teas to make them up. The one person in the kitchen delivered the food piecemeal and bless the young waitress she delivered it with her best smile. They were so apologetic and we had the most lovely time, from arriving hungry and grumpy not all was available we left feeling well served, full and will return. Pay them a visit it's the best cup of tea I have had in a long time. Thank you
