This cafe looks nice on the outside with a 50s rock and roll theme, but stepping inside is a completely different story.
I called in for lunch with my partner before a show and ordered a baguette. At least I tried to; literally half the menu was out of stock. In the end the cook showed me what they did have: some very cheap looking pre-mixed chicken and mayo in a plastic packet. Against our better judgement we decided to stay instead of looking elsewhere and ordered one of the few things they actually had- a jacket potato and a tuna panini.
25 minutes later and our order still hadn't shown up. I asked at the counter and they hadn't even started making it! It's not as if they were rushed either; there were three members of staff looking after a tiny cafe of 8 tables. The staff weren't the least bit concerned or apologetic about the wait, saying they'd cook our order 'in 10 minutes'. We stood up and walked out.
Don't bother at all with this place. Go to the Subway just around the corner where the food is cheaper and you get served in 2 minutes flat. You also won't have to deal with the utterly dreadful service that this cafe has!
