This is a lovely park. We stayed for 7 nights saturday-saturday and we stayed in the deluxe caravan and was put right opposite the main area. The caravan was clean and spacious and was very nice to stay in, the only thing i would say is that they could make the sofa and bed more comfortable. In the main area they had lots of things to do that adults and children enjoy, i didnt expect this to be very good as we stayed in parkdean at wales last year and it was awful but was pleasently suprised at this one. The arcade had a wide range of games to play, but it was quite small so when it got really busy at nighttime it got very crowded. The restaurants food tasted really nice and there were lots of places to sit spread out and the food was brought out in a reasonable time, the only downfall was when you had to go up to the bar to order they often took a long time to serve people. The entertainment lounge was very enjoyable and they did different things every night, it was fun for both the adults and children, they got the whole audience involved and there were lots of places to sit at, a couple of nights the entertainment wasnt as good and we left early but most night the entertainment was amazing and we went down there every night. They had two swimming pools, an outdoor and an indoor, we only went went in the indoor as it was too cold outside, it was a nice swimming pool and had a little childrens slide, the facilities were clean like the changing rooms and showers, i would say that they could make it a bit more exciting by adding a slide or diving board, the outside pool looked very good and there were lots of places to sit around the outside. We also wanted to play golf but didnt end up doing it as it seemed like a waste of money because it was so small and didnt look very exciting. We also tried the nature trail but it wasnt very good. As we were put right opposite the main area it was good as we didnt have to walk a long distance to get there but on the first night it was very noisy until early hours in the morning. They also had two outdoor parks for the children to play in and an indoor soft play area. The staff were all friendly and very welcoming. It is in a very good location as it had lots of stuff to do near it like africa alive and pleasurewood hills. Overall this was an amazing park and is very fun for everyone and i would highly recommend coming here.

Booked a special family holiday early August '14. Decided to book the lodge and the highest price accommodation on site to allow privacy and excellent facilities. What the site didn't state was that we had booked a static caravan with upvc wood grain effect exterior and that the lodge was right in the middle of lots of other vans including an privately owned 1970's style brown static next door!!! The park is full of privately owned.
The "lodge" was clearly new and of very high specification, but only superficially. The bedrooms were small, we had to move around the children's beds to allow their bedroom door to be closed and the shower was far from a decent size and strongly NOT recommended for anyone of above athletic build.
The place was clean, but not immaculate and I had to force myself to overlook the cobwebs and grubby finger marks on the window frames. Every parkdean staff member that I came across was incredibly helpful; even the security staff who provided linen for the kids rooms (that were supposed to be made for arrival) and I admit that I could not bring myself to complain; the park was full, there would not have been an option to change and I didn't want to ruin the family holiday. For those expecting the lodges in "the grove" on the park map; nope, our plot was 543.
I have used parkdean before, even stayed in parkdean lodges before and always been very happy, I was just disappointed this time. Very disappointed. I know that this may make me sound snobbish, but I don't expect to pay over £1,000 for accommodation for the week to be stuck in an overcrowded area and "fake lodge". I have included photographs of the "lodge" so that other travellers can see as I was unable to find any external pictures before booking (which I will never do again). If you would like to know the floor plan search google for "Monaco duo" (which incidentally refers to static caravan) and you will have it, although the main bathroom shower is replaced by a bath only and the master bedroom with ensuite and walk in wardrobe is actually the twin / kids room (which doesn't make sense!).

We loved Great Yarmouth and plan to return, but not here, although I am sure that many will find the place very good and suitable for their needs and smaller / younger children, and had my expectations been correctly set then I would be leaving a different review.

This is a nice park. What really stood out for us is the children's entertainment. It was supurb. The team (Glenn, Katie, sophie, Andy Dizzy, dave, aimee, et al) turned out day in day out full of energy and enthusiasm. The activities (different on each day) were all well thought out and VERY enjoyable for my 5 yr old. I cannot praise them enough. To do what they do and maintain enthusiasm is rather a gift.
The swimming pools are really nice (warm as a bath!). It generally has a nice feel to it. It is quite rural and thankfully far enough away from great yarmouth. Gorelston beach is VERY nice. Caravan ok , no complaints.
Minor downsides - but really nitpicking here- the food is rather hit and miss and some nights it can be quite noisy, but park security dealt with any grumbles swiftly and effectivley. Would certainly come back

We stayed in a Hemsby caravan (8 berth - also called 'Villa Deluxe). Great van with 3 bedrooms.

Two swimming pools - boths need some TLC and could be opened from 9am rather than 10am but generally well run park with friendly staff. I've stayed on many parks and this is one of the better.

Good children's entertainment and the cafe/bar is fairly priced as well. 3rd time we've stayed here and we will be back. I'll give 5* when they renovate the pools.

We visited for a Monday to Friday break and stayed in the 'Upton' caravan. The caravan was spacious, luxurious, clean, modern with double glazing and central heating. I will definitely book into the Upton caravan again.

The park itself is clean and well maintained with plenty of facilities. I have to admit that we didn't spend much time using the facilities ourselves, but we did notice that there is a nice pool and gym.

The park is in a good location, ideal for visiting Great Yarmouth, Lowestoft, Norwich and the Norfolk Broads.

Cherry Tree Holiday Park is definitely one of the nicest caravan parks I have visited, and I will visit again.

Room Tip: Book the 'Upton' caravan.

May I first mention that Jamie of Cirencester who stated that the place was littered with "women's items", and the park and caravan were dirty. You will always get someone that moans about everything!!!!! We also travelled 4 hours from Chippenham, and found the caravan and the WHOLE park spotless. Think he must have been talking about somewhere else.
PARK WAS SPOTLESS, CARAVAN SPOTLESS, AND STAFF FRIENDLY.
Would 100% recommend it.

We have stayed at Cherry tree 3 times now and are planning to return. It is a well run small site the staff are very friendly and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble. However, we do upgrage to a better caravan as the cheaper ones are a bit on the old side but are always clean. We also ask for a specific van nbr so we know where we will be on the park. We do not use the clubhouse so cant comment on shows etc. The swimming pool is great and in our experience always clean and tidy. I would say that it suits families with young children maybe not so much for teenagers.
