What to say first class, have no doubts stop here, spotless warm cosy great food good bar and great hosts, thank you Helen Jeff,
easy to park, easy for main area shops and bars but out enough to be quiet,
close to beach, a local pub five mins away, very good area,

We enjoyed our stay at this b&b in Great Yarmouth. The room we stayed in although perhaps a little small did have all the little extras like lotions and things in the shower room. It also had satellite TV which if you go to Gt Yarmouth off season you will find very useful. The owner was very friendly and helpful with plenty of local information. I loved the breakfast was great and the breakfast chef was happy to do me a bit of fried bread with my fry up in the morning. When i booked it i had the impression it was going to be more along the lines of a hotel, the room costing £60 added to these thoughts. But it is worth keeping in mind that it is a terraced house being used as a B&B and so you will get squeaky floorboards above and ppl walking around in the early hours in the room upstairs. There was plenty of free parking in the roads around the property. Overall we enjoyed our short stay at Maluth Lodge

Thank you for your review, we are glad you enjoyed your stay with us, albeit a very short one, at late availability.
I'm sorry if you were under the impression we were a hotel, at no point did nor do we use the word hotel as we are guest accomodation.
The property is a terraced property, but not as you suggest just "being used as a B&B", we are fully registered as guest accomodation, licensed and inspected, and accredited 4 stars with a silver award, by visit britain.
there was problem with noise from the room above, while looking into this we discovered there was a problem with the bed in the above room, that has now been rectified and will no longer be a problem, thank you for pointing that out.
We do hope you would consider us again on another visit.
Thank you

I booked a couple of days at the Maluth lodge as a last minute get away with the children. We were not disappointed with our stay, the rooms were very clean and comfortable, en suite with awesome shower, the breakfast was perfect and Helen and Jeff were the perfect hosts. It is a little further from town than many but it's worth it for the accommodation. I will definately stay there again and would gladly recommend. Oh - and Bob was great too :)

We stayed at the Maluth Lodge for a week at the end of July, Helen and Jeff made us very welcome and nothing was too much trouble including my fussy breakfast requirements, the breakfast was very substantial and cooked to perfection, the room was of high standard, en-suite with powerful shower, LCD tv with freeview, tea making facilities and a nice big comfy bed, we have stayed in many B&Bs and this is the best by far, excellent value for money, would recommend to anyone stopping in Great Yarmouth and we are planning our next trip for a long weekend.

We stayed with Helen Jeff &Molly for a week in June 6 of us with 2 grandchildren aged 6&3 and were made most welcome, the rooms were clean and comfortable, the breakfast was substantial and well cooked nothing to much trouble. I would recommend this place to anybody going to the area. Must not forget to mention Bob he is a star!

Room Tip: Both rooms we used were excellent first floor one at the front, one at the back.

Friend and I stayed at Maluth Lodge for the weekend. The rooms are a good size and very clean. Hospitality was very good too. There is plenty of space along the road to park your car. It's a short walk to the coast and into the town centre. I would stay here again and I would recommend it to anyone who is visiting Great Yarmouth.

The best value for money B & B I have had the pleasure of visiting.
I keep returning on business to the area and Jeff & Helen make me feel welcome, almost having the run of the place. It is open all year round which I find important, comfortable and clean with freeview LCD TV and every room en suite with excellent showers. Also access to wifi for catching up on business.
Good bar for relaxing and meeting new people and a very good breakfast.
Not only do I keep returning on business but I also extend my stay into the weekend. Maybe in a quieter part of town but is more convenient for Caister stadium and hosre racing track.
