1 review The chalet was so clean and homely we loved it. We didn't want to leave and the little welcome card and presents really made us feel welcome. Also all the little amenities left for us saved us a few penny's. Chalets are now my favourite holiday accommodation

My family and I found this lovely chalet absolutely perfect for our holiday. Beautifully decorated, comfortable beds and spacious lounge meant we felt quickly at home. We especially appreciated the care Sue took to be sure cupboards were filled with kitchen basics; tea, coffee snacks, cooking herbs and spices. The gift of wine and chocolate biscuits was a welcome surprise after our long journey! Beach toys, picnic blankets and wind shelters were a lovely extra touch.
The photos don't do it justice. The chalet has obviously been improved quite substantially since they were taken, so I do think the photos need updating. We were surprised at how bright, sunny and colourful it was.
We loved the site with its excellent (so warm) pool, friendly cafe and ofcourse being only a few steps away from the beach. Great gastro pub with live music nearby. Only disappointment was that we were too relaxed and lazy to make it to the bakery for fresh bread before they sold out. What more could we want? Can't wait to come back. Thank you Sue.

We recently stayed at California Sands with our three sons aged 7,3 and 8 months, we found the chalet very comfortable for all of us. It was very clean and modern with comfortable beds.We found all the little extras very helpful like games for the children and buckets and spades.
The owner had left us lovely arrival gifts of chocs and wine, much appreciated after a long journey with children!
There is plenty to keep the children entertained and the lovely beach is a stones throw away.Pubs and restaurants around are all family friendly.
We lovely time and wont hesitate to book up again.

1 review We had a lovely holiday, lots to do in the area and an enourmous beach just minutes away. The site and locals were very friendly as was the owner Sue, who left us a nice welcome gift,(much appreciated thank you). The chalet was like a home from home with everything we needed for our stay, comfortable and well equipped, we particularly enjoyed the games and dvds. South facing so we made the most of the spring sunshine. My partner and I had not felt so relaxed and refreshed for literally years. We will definitly return and would have no hesitation in recommending this chalet to our friends and family.

2 reviews Just returned back from this chalet on the California sands area.Very modern and clean inside with great use of space and well equipped for couples or families.The owner Susan sent some great information on the area before we arrived so we were able to do some pre-planning .A great little treat was the bubble and cookies that were waiting for us.We have friends that live a short distance from the chalet and we would be using it again when we next visit if available.Highly Recommended.
