This is a lovely cottage in a great setting. We, a family of 3 adults and 3 children (3-7), stayed for a week. The owner's have thought of everything to make your stay a very comfortable one with the cottage being equipped with all the necessities and more! The fact that there are three toilets, a wet room and a bathroom is certainly a bonus when there's young children in your party and the weather's not the best. We didn't use the log burning stove but there were full instructions for the uninitiated - we used the convector heaters just to take the chill off the air. The cottage has a lovely garden complete with a tree house, which the kids loved to go for 'adventures'. There's also plenty to do nearby. Landmark and the Highland Wildlife Park are a short drive away and well worth a visit. In Grantown itself there's a mixture of shops and eateries. We whiled away a couple of hours at Smarty Art on the High Street where we all had great fun painting ornaments from an extensive collection. The weather was very unsettled but it didn't keep us in - you're in the Highlands of Scotland so you have to be prepared for 4 seasons in one day!! All in all we had a great holiday and will definitely be back
