“Luxurious, inviting and great breakfasts”

The Dulaig is well placed for the town of Grantown on Spey and the surrounding countryside. Carol & Gordon are fantastic hosts and we can't really add any more to what has already been said. The restaurant recommendation they suggested was excellent as well.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the reindeer centre and can recommend it as it's a nice walk and having The Dulaig to return to is the icing on the cake...talking of which, we really enjoyed the vists to our room form the cake fairy ! ;o)

Can't wait to make a return trip!

As everyone here has said - the Dulaig is amazing. My husband and I stayed at this beautiful B&B for two nights. Not only is the house magnificient, the hosts are two of the most kind, charming and helpful people that we have met.

Carol and Gordon have thought of everything. From the beautiful rooms to the jacuzzi bath to the robes and all of the wonderful toiletries in the bathroom. Carol put little baked treats in the fridge with a handwritten note from the dessert fairy.

They both gave us so much useful information with respect to the Whisky Trail and set up a tasting for us at a Whisky Shop. It was a very fun and informational tasting and helped us make a decision for a purchase.

I was sick with a cold and could not come down to breakfast on our last morning. Carol was so kind and offered to bring me breakfast in our room.

This home and the people were a real highlight for us and they made our trip to Grantown on Spey memorable in so many ways.

This B&B deserves everyone of the 5 stars that it has received.

Thank you Carol and Gordon.

I don't know where to start - we had a perfect time at this place. Spacious guestrooms, nicely decorated and lacking absolutely nothing, perfectly clean, little self baked treats when we came back from day trips, delicious breakfast, absolutely quiet and the nicest hosts we had during our whole Scotland trip. Within walking distance to some nice restaurants, and lots of things to do in the area. We stayed for just 2 days, and I am sure we will come back and stay longer!! Absolutely recommendable.

If you are looking to create a wonderful memory in a lovely home with very attentive hosts who pamper their guests and make them feel very special, the Dulaig is the B & B for you! Our room was spacious, beautifully decorated, and well stocked with drinks and treats, overlooking beautiful floral and vegetable gardens. The breakfasts were simply superb, bountiful and leisurely, the best we had during our two week tour of Scotland (and we had many wonderful breakfasts). I especially loved the array of cheeses and the hot cakes with bacon, cheese and herbs along with fresh berries. Carol indulges in her obvious love of cooking. Both Carol and Gordon directed us to fine restraurants, art galleries and local tours, and provided us with detailed information about the area, insuring that our limited time in the area was well spent. Let's hope they stay in the B & B business for a long time!

I can't recommend this B&B more highly. The detail that Carol and Gordon go into to ensure that your stay is top notch, is impressive. They can't do enough for you and recommendations of things to do and places to eat are made very much with each individual in mind. The breakfast is outstanding with a "special" every day. We stayed in the "Benson" room. It is very well appointed with a a great ensuite - the whirlpool bath and underfloor heating just add to the decadence.

This is the best B&B my girlfriend and I have ever had the pleasure of staying in. The other reviews pretty much cover everything!!
Personally it was the little details that made our stay enjoyable (Even though it was only one night). Everything about the house is just that little bit more special than normal, the under floor heated bathroom, the complimentary cognac in the room, the home-made bannana bread while sitting in the garden watching the red squirrels and the staggered breakfast times is a lovely and refreshing approach. From the cutlery to the shower you cannot fault this place. I could go on about it for ages.
Similarly the hosts, Carrol and Gordon, are wonderfully friendly and are always more than happy to help. Again its the little things make this beautiful house a warm and welcoming place to be.

I cant think of anything I didnt like about The Dulaig.........literally.

I will be returning to The Dulaig in the near future.

Ten out of Ten.
