“Home Away From Home”

We always find consistency when we arrive at Garden Park Guesthouse. David and Angela are always there to greet us with smiles. There is ample off street parking. The rooms are always warm, welcoming and private! Location of the guesthouse is perfect. From the drive it is a quick 2 minute walk to the High Street or a short few minutes walk to the River Spey through the forest. Bed and breakfast means simply...a good nights sleep with a great full breakfast cooked to order in the morning. They have a great knowledge of the area and can recommend a restaurant, walking trail or event. They offer brochures for any activity you may wish to do. They will also offer to make dinner or activity reservations for you. We've been coming to the area for over 9 years and always look forward to staying with David and Angela. It is a home away from home for us; which is why we tend to have an extended stay most times. We feel very much at home at the Garden Park Guesthouse and we know you will too!

We have been to Garden Park several times now and we always leave looking forward to going back! It is such a friendly welcoming place and we are treated like friends . The breakfasts are really good and always served in a friendly manner . Both the rooms we have had have been excellent. The rooms are smart enough to be in a first class hotel but managing to combine this with a homely comfort which is hard to beat. We tend to be in by early evening due to my health issues and we findrthe rooms just right to relax in and enjoy a quiet evening or watch TV. Angela is always ready to answer questions about the area and local amenities. We would go more often if we could but although it is excellent value and we never tire of the area it is quite a drive from where we live.
There is no 'downside' at all!! Am just about to book again!

Garden park is easy walking distance to the town centre. They don't provide evening meals themseleves but have a book of the eating establishements in the town and some from the surrounding area. Dave or Angela are always happy to help you with booking a place too. Breakfast is excellent, plenty of choice. If what you want isn't on the menu ask, and they will endeavour to source it for you.

What separates the good places to stay from the excellent are the small "attention to detail" things, and Dave and Angela are first class at doing the small things that make our stays so memorable. We always look forward to our stays there, and now tend to drive straight up from Lancashire so we can have an extra night here (sorry rest of Scotland!)

From the minute we arrived David & Angela made us feel so at home. The room we stayed in was cosy and not 'hotelly' at all if you know what I mean. From the fabrics on the bed to the immaculately clean bathroom everything was like a home from home. Great views and good advice on where to eat in town - by the way we ate at the Syhlet Brasserie in the 'square' which was just lovely. We had the most enormous breakfast the next morning cooked by David and we will definitely be back - thanks for a great stay!
