Very good hotel in a great situation for visiting the highlands. It has a warm atmosphere with owners and staff who are very friendly and helpful. The bar is good and food excellent! We will be back very soon!

We stayed at the Seafield Lodge during a three day Whiskey tour. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms a bit small but that is to be expected in Europe (we didn't plan on spending too much time in the room anyways). They were very clean as well. The restaurant was great as well. It wasn't as busy as other restaurants in the area and I think it is because the hotel is located one street up from the main street. It's a shame because the food was better than the place we went to the night before. If you are looking for a nice cozy place to stay for a couple of nights without any fuss this hotel is ideal.

Recently spent a week at Seafield Lodge, and had a great time. The staff were really lovely and worked hard at making our stay enjoyable. I cannot praise Patrick enough, he was friendly and extremely helpful and great behind the bar a really hard worker a great asset to the Hotel.
The food was excellent the dinner menu was varied and cooked and presented perfectly, breakfast was amazing once again perfectly cooked and and very ample certainly started the day off well. We had packed lunches which were very good and adequate. The room was clean and the bed very comfortable. The hotel was really quiet so had a good nights sleep throughout our stay. I would highly recommend this hotel.

This is a very nice hotel situated in a picturesque town. The drive up from Glasgow is stunning through the Cairngorms. The room I had was number 7 which had 2 single beds? The bar snack menu is pretty good and the haddock & chips is really nice. Friendly bar staff and owners. The breakfast was plentiful and the guests lounge is nice and relaxing after a long day. Highly recommended.

I booked a twin room, with breakfast, for a one night stay, through 'Booking.com' @ £72.50 for two people. (This was to be one of two 'stopping-off' places on our way to Orkney.)
Seafield Lodge is on a quiet street running parallel to (and one street behind) the main street.
The first room I was shown had no direct outlook and when I asked to see another room, I was told that there would be a £10 supplement for the upgrade. The second room was much larger and brighter, but when I decided that I would like to upgrade, Loretta (the host) said that there would be no extra charge. (Full marks there!)
Loretta was very welcoming and her friendly, cheery presence was in evidence throughout the evening and at breakfast.
I chose Seafield Lodge as I had read that it was one of the few Grantown hotels to serve dinner at this time of year. Meals were served in the cosy bar but, on request, the smart little dining room was opened up for us. There was a good choice of food which was cooked to perfection.
The beds (and pillows) proved to be very comfortable and we both had an excellent night's sleep.
The delicious breakfast was served (by Loretta) in a very bright and charming garden room at the back of the hotel.
Seafield Lodge proved to be an excellent choice for our needs and I would not hesitate to stay there on future trips to the north of Scotland.

Easy to find this hotel. Very warm welcome. Assistance provided with luggage. Room was clean and fresh. TV and tea making equipment worked fine. Wifi unreliable throughout hotel. Had dinner in the bar. Excellent steak pie ! No noise from surroundings. Good night's sleep. Great bathroom with shower. Comfortable communal lounge. Breakfast provided in a separate room. Very nice.
