“Very dog unfriendly”
Reviewed 17 June 2014

We had looked at the Revack Estate website before we set off and it said nothing about dogs not being allowed so we decided to give it a go for our daily fix of coffee and cake thinking that the dog would be allowed to sit outside with us while we ate. When we got there we were surrounded by several NO DOGS notices. What we should have done was left immediately but the cakes looked very yummy so the dog had to stay alone in the car. But we wouldn't go back.

“The haddock was enormous!”
Reviewed 7 June 2014

We went for a walk at this beautiful wooded estate and had lunch in the attractive restaurant. From the conservatory we could see the red squirrels and wild birds feeding on the nearby bird tables; great for photographers. My wife had a lasagne and side salad which she said was delicious. I had an enormous breaded haddock with (3-fried) chips and salad. The fish was absolutely superb.

Shop selling upmarket gifts, Superb Cafe, with extensive snack menu, all served beautifully. Plus they have outdoor, and conservatory seating with attendant resident cheeky Red squirreled.. What more could you ask for!

“Beautiful Estate”
Reviewed 20 May 2014 via mobile

The cafe and shop are set in exceptionally beautiful grounds, worth a walk, cycle or drive alone. The cafe offers a decent selection of cakes and drinks with both indoor and outside seating. The prices are reasonable although a little pricey for the area.
