Description: This bar/restaurant haz a lovely feel about it. There is a small bar with an open fire. Speciality food..pies. A variety of pies to choose from including vegetarian fillings. The supplier provides the uncooked pies and the bar cook them. We were told exactly how long we would need to wait before we could eaf right from the start. All pies served with chips anx and cost about £7.25ish. Beans and gravy cost extra. Tbe pies are to die for.

It was very quiet when we went in as it was only just gone 5pm so they had only just opened. The lady behind the bar was very friendly. Drinks weren't too bad about £2.50 for a bottle of cider. But we had gone there for the pies (http://www.thecraigbar.co.uk/index.php/pies)!

A good pie menu all served with chips. Optional sides of mushy peas and gravy. The pie was cooked nicely and tasted super. For our meal and a drink each it was about £10 per head. We would happily go again.

Delicious ingredients washed down with real cask ale. There is nothing better! The decor pays homage to the RAF and the jukebox in the back was a blast!

Fabulous pie and chips and mushy peas when we arrived starving after a long hard day's walk on Speyside Way! Definitely was worth making a booking a few weeks earlier as were treated like VIPs. Great atmosphere, slightly unorthodox but very friendly welcome, nice international clientele, lovely!

The pies are fantastic, and there is a great separate dining room where families with children can eat. The hostess/bartender was friendly as were the locals. Great comfortable, down to earth place to grab a pint and some dinner.

My husband and I sat at the bar and for many hours were entertained by Robbie the one-man-show. We were amazed by his ability to multi-task and provide such high level service to so many people (a blend of locals and tourists). He's funny, smart, and great at what he does. Warning: the language is not kid-friendly or for those that can not take a joke. If you are looking for a fun night out then head to The Craig and get a spot at or near the bar! Cash Only.
