Description: This bar/restaurant haz a lovely feel about it. There is a small bar with an open fire. Speciality food..pies. A variety of pies to choose from including vegetarian fillings. The supplier provides the uncooked pies and the bar cook them. We were told exactly how long we would need to wait before we could eaf right from the start. All pies served with chips anx and cost about £7.25ish. Beans and gravy cost extra. Tbe pies are to die for.

We return a second night for the food and Robie, the humorous host. I recommend the Moo and Blue with Laphroaig.

Thank Deborah K

The Craig Bar was recommended, Well' we were warned buy our tour guide that the barman was a little different but that made the night pass with great memories, food was down to earth good old Pie and mash but they were just the best pies and you won't go hungry.

Met up with an old friend in Grantown and went for a pint and a Pie at The Craig Bar.
A small pub decorated with everything and anything Military aircraft related.
Met by the slightly bonkers land lord and shown to a table.
The menu consisted of Pies, but rest pies, from exotic to the traditional. Ordered the Deer stalker or as the aforementioned bonkers landlord referred to as the " Basil Rathbone" (work it out) .
A perfect Venison and smoked bacon pie arrived with superb home cooked chips and delicious gravy, all for £7.50 plus £1.50 for the gravy. Superb food, superb service all at a great price. Glad the landlord is bonkers! If near bye definitely drop in you won't be disappointed.
