Karen and Neil certainly do make you feel that you are doing them a favour by staying with them. We were made to feel very comfortable. The experience was perfect, amenities were generous, views were lovely, and the roadway quieted down by early evening. Glad we chose to go put Grantown in our itinerary and glad our guide selected this venue. Thanks so much H&N, Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

Room Tip: book well in advance so you are not disappointed.

Hello ShoeDiva (H&N), we are delighted you enjoyed your stay with us. It was lovely chatting on that beautiful evening by the bench in the front garden. I didn't think it would ever get dark that night! We hope you enjoyed the rest of your tour and the weather was kinder to you in Oban than the forecast suggested. Thank you for taking the time to review your stay with us. Karen and Neil

If there are two friendlier and more helpful hosts than Karen and Neil, we've yet to meet them. Everything about our stay was lovely: a warm welcome, an immaculate and comfortable room and (critical for cycle tourists) a fabulous breakfast. We would have extended our stay if they weren't already full, however they went to the trouble to find us another guest house almost as perfect and even transported our luggage. We couldn't have asked for more!

Room Tip: You're lucky just to be there!

Thank you so much for your lovely review. We were disappointed not to be able to accommodate you for your second night but pleased that you enjoyed your stay with our colleagues in the town. We hope your day cycling in the area was enjoyable, despite the weather, I recall it being a wee bit wet that day! Thank you once again, Karen and Neil

We stayed at Rossmor one night and it was memorable. Karen and Neil go out of their way to make you feel at home immediately. The rooms were lovely, comfortable and clean with wonderful bathrooms. Breakfast was excellent. We walked to dinner in town and walked to the river through the park. We would highly recommend the Rossmor.

RossMor is a wonderful place to stay. It is well located for visiting the numerous distilleries in the area. Karen and Neal are wonderful hosts and very helpful with directions and suggestions. If you are interested in Scotch Whisky, Neal is very knowledgeable. We followed his suggestions and had a great time. The breakfasts were well prepared and tasted great. The house, itself, is beautiful. I can't recommend this highly enough.

What a lovely review, thank you for taking the time to share your experience. You certainly came to the right area for whisky, there are so many distilleries to visit within a 40 minute drive of here. And we are so pleased that you managed to find that special bottle of 16 year old! Thank you for choosing to stay with us and maybe we will see you again on another visit to the Highlands. We had a 3 night stay in June and the service was fantastic. Karen and Neil really made us feel welcome and had plenty of advice and hints on where to eat and places to visit. Breakfast was delicious and so much to choose from, and this would be a great base to explore the highlands. Hopefully one day we can make it back Marion and Daryl Australia,

Room Tip: We stayed in a room facing the road and front garden on first floor and no noise it was great but re...

Marion, many thanks for your kind, positive review. We were pleased to hear you enjoyed your room with the lovely views across the lochan, woods and hills in the distance. Our elevated position gives us one of the best views in Grantown whilst still being very quiet and relaxing. Hope you enjoyed Inverness and the rest of your time in the Highlands. Best wishes to you both, Karen and Neil.

Extremely kind and helpful owners. Tasty breakfast with selfmade bread. Nice old house with very comfortable rooms. Restaurants and pubs within reach of a 5 minute footwalk. A perfect starting point for any Speyside tour.
