My review is for the restaurant and bar area. We didn't stay here on this occasion but looks so lovely. We went for dinner . The staff were very attentive. The food was lovely . A very cosy setting a real home from home feel. Would recommend this Hotel.

Room Tip: Didn't stay on this occasion.

I stayed at The Garth Hotel for a night as my rented cottage was inaccessible (die to snow).

The staff were so welcoming and I forgot all about the fact that I was a "nomad" for the night! The breakfast was brilliant - and included my favourite haggis, served by a charming young man.

I cannot praise this hotel highly enough. Perhaps if you are wanting non stop entertainment this might not be for you, but if you want peace, cosseting, and relaxation you need look no further. The rooms are spotless, the staff could not be more welcoming and the food is 'to die for'. Added bonus is real bath in en suite as well as shower, and also heating which can be controlled and window which opens. So important when you are travelling with dogs. I have stayed in many hotels in Scotland and in England but this is really special. If you are travelling North of the Border then maybe make a detour to stay here and enjoy Grantown on Spey. You will not be disappointed.
Unfortunately web site is not allowing me to complete survey (wonders of technology) but have to say service, location and cleanliness all 100%.
Can't wait for my next stay.

Room Tip: Hotel will do its best to accommodate whatever you want

We visited Grantown-on-Spey and stayed here for 3 nights. Very friendly and helpful staff. The room was clean and a decent size. It had a nice bathroom and complementary toiletries.

We had a meal there the first evening which was excellent. The breakfasts were also very good and generous portions.

I would highly recommend this hotel as it was excellent value for money.
