“Very interesting and beautiful church”
Reviewed 24 November 2013

Had an hour to spare in Grantham before catching a train, we saw the spire over the rooftops and followed it to find out what it was. I had no idea of the history of the place beforehand, but it was obvious how old (and how beautiful) the building was when we got up close. There are lovely scary gargoyles all round the outside of the roof, and many carved little faces in the stone. The windows are beautiful, with intricate and artistically balanced stone tracery between the panes of glass. (We didn't get to go inside sadly as it was closed.)

“get the divine feeling and smell of history”
Reviewed 28 May 2013

This is probably the oldest church in grantham. Excellent architecture and got history written all over. Day time would be best to visit and take some pictures.

“A place of calm”
Reviewed 17 May 2013

Let's be honest, Grantham is a ropey place. But the church and its surrounding are a wonderful contrast.

Do go and enjoy the peace.

“amazing landmark of Grantham”
Reviewed 21 April 2013

Well worth a visit on open days or just pop in for coffee on a Saturday morning or before collecting the kids from the next door school. There is a great community of people supporting this church helping to make it welcoming to all who come through the door. Thoroughly recommentd climbing up the tower on open day for excellent views across Grantham.
