Belvoir Vale was wonderful. We drove up a narrow, winding lane across a stone bridge and past a field of sheep. Every morning out our bedroom window we saw pheasants in the garden. We had a large, beautifully furnished room, and a delicious, varied breakfast was served on a beautifully set table. We were visiting our son at Harlaxton Manor, and Belvoir Vale was an easy 10-minute drive away. Easily the finest B&B we stayed in during our two weeks in England.

We recently stayed with Norman and Suzie and were delighted with our visit. The welcome was wonderful, the room perfect and breakfasts awesome. Nothing was too much bother - from helping us to and from local pubs to printing out a really helpful map for our main day trip out. Suzie is an excellent cook, (I particularly enjoyed the full range of home made jams), and the breakfast included lovely fresh fruit, a fruit compote along with real bacon and sausage. Norman is a charming host and the overall effect is a wonderful refreshing break delivered by a well honed, generous and welcoming team. (Oh, and thanks for arranging for the song thrush to bring us round in such a delightful manner!)

Just returned from Belvoir Vale Cottage. Couldn't have been better. Norman and Suzie are great hosts and we relaxed as soon as we walked through the door. They take hospitality to another level and nothing is too much trouble.
The bed was one of the most comfortable we've ever experienced; mattress hand made in Yorkshire evidently, we want one!
Not surprised that they have just been Highly Commended in the 'Taste of Lincolnshire' awards. The quality of ingredients is top notch and the cooking and presentation superb.
Can't recommend them highly enough!

This is an outstanding b&b where the owners really put the customer first. Accommodation is excellent with fine views of Belvoir castle and an enormous range of toiletries, teas, coffees & cordials. We were offered a cup of tea and cake on arrival and when we asked for details of local walks were given directions and maps. We were eating at the Chequers pub in the evening and were given a lift and picked up by the owners at no extra charge. Breakfast was first class, starting with a very attractive fruit platter followed by a full English or smoked salmon and scrambled eggs or a selection of mushrooms and poached eggs and then followed by toast and an array of home made jams/marmalades. As we were going for another local walk the day we were leaving we were allowed to use our room to freshen up afterwards later in the day. If you plan to stay anywhere in this region then this should be your first choice!

Room Tip: We had a first floor room which was excellent

The attention to detail is obvious at first sight. this beautifully furnished cottage was beyond all my expectations. the bed was amazingly comfortable, I slept like it was a fairytale. The bathroom was like you had stepped into a showroom for the grandest of designs. The livingroom had both a small sofa and a recliner chair. In all this room was just where you need to be for either a short stay or longer. Although after the banquet style breakfast you may never want to leave. the owners are beyond any expectations, they even offered to collect us at midnight from a function we had attended. the most beautiful persons inside and out. I doubt anywhere else will come close to this amazing cottage.
