Stayed over here for two nights. The rooms are comfortable and very clean. Attention to detail is very good. The beds are very comfortable and there is air conditioning to ensure the room has a pleasent temperature.
The food is very good if a little pricey but no more than any other good quality hotel.
The bar and dining staff are very pleasant and helpful.
As for the position its a little out of the city centre but close to the Baltic Gallery and The Sage.
there are plenty of bars and eateries within walking distance.
Be sure and take a coat or jacket as the wind coming along the river can be quite cold.
All in all a good place to stay.

Two friends and I stayed here recently on an overnight stay in Newcastle.

From the word go the staff were very friendly and helpful, I'd only booked a second room that morning and the girl at the front desk made sure it was right opposite to the first room I'd booked weeks previously.

Although you can walk into town across the Millenium Bridge if, like us, you were in a hurry the front desk will order a taxi for you which, as it happened, arrived within 5 minutes of ordering.

After going back to the hotel at about 1 in the morning we stayed in the busy hotel bar until approximately 3am. There were obviously a few stag/hen partys staying in the hotel so the atmosphere was lively to say the least. Again the bar staff couldn't have been friendlier.

I would definitely stay here again, the view of the river and bridges was great and I couldn't fault the place.

The only thing I would say is that if you're travelling with young children or are hoping for a quiet hotel I would probably look elsewhere. Given that the clientele (at the weekend at least) were large groups of younger people there was a lot of noise throughout the night including doors banging. It didn't bother us as we were up late ourselves but I would imagine that it might not be ideal for everyone.

Room Tip: Ask for a river view !

I've not stayed in many places where the staff are so pleasant and helpful. The food was lovely and the location is perfect for a stay in Newcastle. Rooms were clean, comfy, and cosy. Booked with superbreak and got a great half board deal. Would definitely recommend.

We stayed overnight after a nearby concert.
From arrival to departure everything was great. Staff so helpful, room lovely. View of bridge out of window at night was so picturesque, and colourful. The bed was so comfortable, could have stayed in bed all day. Breakfast you could have what you wanted, and even vegetarian sausages, which were lovely.
We will definitely be back.

Room Tip: Upgrade to superior room for £20. Well worth the money.

Got a last minute deal and was impressed with the value for money. Great rooms with comfortable beds and modern decoration. Would stay here again. Good for access to Newcastle city centre 10 minute walk away across the quayside. Great place to see the city from! Overall exactly as it says on the tin.

Had a very pleasant stay. Everything you could want from a hotel room, comfy bed, amazing shower (I had to look ot of the window to make sure it hadn't emptied the Tyne!) fantastic view. We even saw the millenium bridge go up at night with all the lights twinkling!

The staff were lovely, the breakfast very varied and substantial with lots of healthy fruit and yogurt but also well cooked hot bacon and eggs etc.

Yes, I should think it could be a bit noisy at the weekend (as Newcastle its generally!) but the one (weekday) hen party we saw went out in an orderly line at 8-30 in the morning!

The loo roll is cheap and I wasnt fond of the stripy carpet in the corridor but everything else was perfect.

Thankyou

Room Tip: Pay for a quayside view ...its worth it!
