Had a lovely warm welcome from David who was very efficient and professional, the room had a fresh clean smell as soon as I walked in. Everywhere spotless and clean. Will definitely stay here again when I am in the area for business.

This is one of my favoured premier inns in the Newcastle area. I stay in the area about 3/4 times a year, and like the city centre but if its not necessary I stay here now. The staff are fantastic, and its really quiet. The metro centre is very close, and as long as you have a car you can take your pick where you eat. otherwise its a taxi or a limited range within walking distance. I avoid the restraint in the evening as a personal choice, because there have been lots of kids in there. I do use it for Breakfast and its fine for the standard premier inn food.

The rooms were big, the attached Taybarn restaurant was amazing and the staff extremely helpful. The rooms were cold and no smaller lighting available for when baby is asleep. Would return but had a rubbish sleep and wish I'd been aware of the 'Good Night Sleep Guarantee' previously as I'd have requested a refund (even partially).

Room was spacious and clean, large bathroom with a huge shower!! ideal location for both the metro and newcastle itself. staff very friendly and efficient. Nice food that was worth what we paid for it. Beginning to think that these 'cheaper' hotels are the way forward after spending money on far more expensive places and having inferior service.
