Now I love nothing more than mooching round a gallery, especially when there is quality art on display. I don't care for all of it but most of what I saw at the Fowey River Gallery was inspired.
I can't paint or draw, so to see such lovely works on display and knowing how much work can go into them was a treat.
I loved the work by Paul J Gunn and Mike Hindle, and with it being Fowey and Cornwall artwork it was even more special.
Jenny was an absolute blast to talk to and really knew her stuff regarding the artists.( We will take very good care of grandpa prawn)
What I found interesting was they do an interest free purchase scheme, so making the art so much more affordable. Sadly it still didn't convince the better half.
The downstairs shop was full off some lovely quality bits and pieces and the Joseph Joseph kitchenware was cheaper than we had bought in a well known department store.
We go home in two days but maybe I can twist my Lovely wife's arm for another visit!
Oh and our dog was also made very welcome.
