Fabulous location. We were very lucky with the Weather which added to our weekend break but I think even if it rained this would be a great location.

“Beautiful ”
Reviewed 29 October 2017 for a stay in October 2017

Stayed in this apartment for the weekend and was shocked at how lovely the location and apartment was. We were welcomed with hot chocolate, milk in the fridge tea bags, coffee, sugar etc! The living area was cosy and the kitchen was filled with all essentials. There is 2 bedrooms with very comfortable beds and pillows. The shower is a powerful electric shower which was lovely and the apartment has shower gel, shampoo and conditioner ready for you, also plenty of towels for us to use. The private property was lovely as my boyfriend was able to go fishing without any bother. Can park your car right infront of the door. Down the lane there is the town which has a big shopping centre and Tesco and Asda all within a 5 minute drive. I would defo recommend this apartment and will be back myself. Thanks very much Gary

“Lovely place”

I went here for a girly weekend of sight seeing. We loved the view and plan to go back very soon. Lots of nice personal touches eg. Home made biscuits on arrival etc, the only thing to mention is there's no oven so don't buy oven pizza's on the way there like I did lol
I would recommend this spot, it's very good for a relaxing. It's also very well maintained by the owners.

“Beautiful!”
Reviewed 12 October 2017 for a stay in September 2017

My friend and I arrived at this beautiful property for a weekend stay to recharge our batteries. The apartment was clean, compact and had everything we needed (teabags, coffee, sugar, milk, towels). The view from the sitting area and balcony was stunning, especially at sunset! It was so peaceful and quiet. We watched many a small boat come and go along the river over the weekend by day and at night caught the moons silvery beams reflected on the surface of the water making for an almost magical scene. We could have been somewhere out in the middle of the country, yet only a five minute drive away there was a huge ASDA store, Tesco store, £stretcher and the Erneside Shopping Centre. Another 10 minute walk and you're in the town centre. A busy, bustling town with lots of shops, little cafes etc., then back to tranquillity again. The Killyhevlin Hotel is just a 10 minute drive down the road. The food there is wonderful and good value for money and the views of the river from the hotel are amazing! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely apartment and would love to return sometime in the future for another visit. Definitely recommended!

Lovely little apartment with beautiful views and very accommodating hosts. The location was a surprise and very central to all amenities & attractions. To be honest I could have sat by the window and looked at the scenery for hours as it was so peaceful. So if it's a fun filled break or a relaxing weekend away that you're after this location will deliver..loved it!
