This is a quaint little tearoom with plenty of choice. I particularly loved the buttered fruit loaf which served as a substantial lunch.

Visited with a group of friends for a light lunch. We were all pleased with what we ate and with the surroundings. I'd been a few years ago when there was more on the menu though.

This restaurant used to be brilliant under different ownership, as well as being well-known for its wonderful local bread sold around Enniskillen. It also had an amazing turf fire, where the smoke was vortexed horizontally before entering the chimney.

That's all a preface to say that all that has gone and you are left with a plain-looking tea-room, with a very restricted menu. 'Lunch' was one variety of soup (potato) and a quiche, with chips and salad. So a big feed for a good price but nothing like the extensive menu of delicious food on offer previously. The sandwiches were on white sliced bread with no alternative offered.

That said, the cakes looked fantastic, and the coffee was great-flat whites are hard to come by in Fermanagh!

my boyf and I stopped here for some afternoon treats on a Friday. We entered the tea rooms at 45mins before closing to find the place empty and no food on display whatsoever. The one member of staff present didn't greet us and appeared annoyed when we interrupted her moping of the floor to order. We both decided to order specials off the board only to be told there were no specials left. I asked if it was possible to get a sandwich made to order and was told no, only what's on the menu -not great when you've allergies! We finally settled on 2 sandwiches on the menu and teas. We sat down and 5 minutes later the waitress returns to say what we ordered is not available! No explanation or offer of what was available! So we sharply left. Huge disappointment.

On reading reviews on the Sheelin tea room, we were very disappointed with our visit ! The lady serving us was inappropriately dressed for a restaurant, quite scruffy to say the least! The selection of home baked food was very poor, and the service very slow! Wouldn't be in a hurry back!
