“Lovely views”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 3 October 2011

My husband and I stayed overnight and thought the food in the restaurant was of a very high standard - delicious. Our room overlooked the lake so we had a lovely view. Room good, great view, friendly efficient staff, excellent pool area, delicious food - everything one could ask for. Only downside was the bar was a little chaotic when we arrived but it was a busy time and was better later in the evening.

Dear Zills
Thank you so much for a very kind review of your overnight stay with us. Everything appears to have been to your liking and thats what we like to hear. Sometimes our bar can be a bit hectic but it usually sorts itself out and is a very tranquil area to listen to a little piano music and sip a drink while enjoying a view of Lough Erne. Thank you once again, many regards, Leigh Watson, HR manager.

Stayed here for just the one night on a business trip and had no complaints. The hotel has a lovely setting with a nice bar/restaurant and leisure centre attached. The food was of a good standard and I enjoyed both the carvery for evening meal and the Irish breakfast. The room was nice enough for this standard of hotel although I would have preferred a room with a view out to the logh rather than the carpark but this was a minor issue. If in the area again i would have no complaints staying here once more.

My father and I stayed here for one night recently and requested a standard twin room. We received a disabled twin room (room 153) which I would have described as family room with a double and single bed and also a lovely view of lough erne Huge well lit bathroom with lovely shower. The staff were all superb right from check in to check out. They were all on hand to help out with any questions or queries. Breakfast was lovely as you could help yourself to anything from the hot or cold buffet. The atmosphere in the hotel was very relaxed and friendly. We would really recommend staying in this hotel.

Room Tip: Room 153 is classed a disable twin room but sleeps 3 people and has a fantastic view for the price o...

Thank you so much for you super review of your stay with us. Great to read you found the room suited you both and it does have a great view down the lake. Our buffet style breakfast is very popular and nobody goes away from hungry. We'll be delighted to see you back, kind regards, Leigh Watson, HR manager.

I took my Boyfriend to the Killyhevlin hotel for his 40th birthday, the staff were extremely helpful and on hand to help me with all the we extra supprises i wanted to do with out telling him, They helped me to arrange for balloons to be delivered and placed in the room and they even upgraded us to a lake view without us knowing about it. On arrival they had placed a birthday card in the room signed by the staff just one of the extra we touches that made it more special the rooms are beautifully presented and of the highest standard and very clean. We ate in the reasturant both nights we were there and the food was outstanding i would say 5* quality. the night of my boyfriends birthday the brought out his dessert with a candle in it and wished him a very happy birthday this was also done without us asking for it. we tell everyone about this hotel and have even been back for a wedding party which was beatiful we will not stay anywhere but the killyhevlin now when we visit enniskillen and would suggest that if you havent stayed here then treat yourself or a loved one to a trip here you wont be disapointed..

Room Tip: Go for a lake view its lovely eating breakfast in your room looking out at the view.

I have been to the Killyhevlin Hotel as a normal guest for a wee night away, as a wedding guest and for my fiancees birthday treat and I would go back again and again.
The last time I was there was June, it was for my fiancee's birthday and we were upgraded, without us knowing, to a river view room and the views were stunning!
I have to say the bar snacks/food were not great or the service when getting the food but this may have been because it was fathers day weekend and the hotel was very busy!
I would recommend this hotel to anyone!

Room Tip: A lake view room is brilliant!

Dear heeelllooo
We'll be delighted to see you return as many times as you like - and you don't even have to have a special occasion to make the excuse!! Our GM has been made aware of your comments and will be investigating the matter regarding speed and quality of service and while you quite sweetly blame it on a busy Father's Day, I can guarantee that is not our normal service and I offer my sincere apologies for failing to meet our normal high standard. Thank you for your recommendation, kindest regards, Leigh Watson, HR manager.

Just returned from the riverside chalets at the Killyhevlin Hotel in Enniskillen. There are 14 chalets located on the banks of the river Erne. The chalets are of a high standard each with 2 bedrooms with 2 single beds.Excellent kitchen facilities including a dishwasher. The hotel and its leisure complex are available at no extra charge. The carvery is reasonable and the food is of a consistently high standard. As a coarse angler I was impressed with the jettys in front of each cabin that meant that two angers could comfortably fish alongside each other, virtually within touching distance of the chalet. The whole complex is very picturesque. I anticipate staying there again in the near future and have no hesitation in recommending this Hotel to fellow travellers.

Thank you so much for your great review of your stay in one of our self-contained lakeside chalets. They are indeed a fisherman's paradise! You could forget you're only a mile from a busy town its so peaceful and relaxing out on the jetty. Keep on recommending us to fellow travellers. Many thanks, kind regards, Leigh Watson, HR manager.
