Thank you very much for your feedback on your recent stay in one of our self catering lakeside chalets. We are delighted that you enjoyed your break and could bring your doggies. Thank you for the recommendation and we look forward to you returning, kindest regards, Leigh Watson, HR Manager.
Having stayed in the Killyhevlin chalets in the past we decided to take up the offer of two day break for excellent offer of £99pp. Arrived at reception where the ladies/girls were very pleasant and lovely warm welcome. The room on we stayed in was clean and bathroom very good size. The cleaning staff cleaned our room next morning and looked spanking clean again with new fresh towels, as some hotels now ask you to use for more than one night. Included in the offer was a cruise on the River Erne, but due to rain in afternoon this trip was cancelled but we did get offered afternoon tea with fresh scones and jam and cream yummmy!!
Our friends stayed for first time and we were so happy they enjoyed their stay as we always talked about the hotel.
Overall we enjoyed our stay, the restaurant offer of one meal included was excellent and was good to see familiar faces on the staff. The second night we dined in the bar area and this meal was just as good. Look forward to next offers and will return. Did try to book chalet in July but they are booked out until next free date in August..pity for us but happy for Killyhevlin. The place has improved in all areas, the grounds are in good shape and the place is perfect for relaxing time away.
Thank you so much for your very thoughtful and complimentary review of your break with at the hotel recently: even better you brought some friends along to share the experience. We can't always depend on the Fermanagh weather but on this occasion an afternoon tea instead of a boat trip has to have been a good swap. You'll have to come again for the boat trip! We're very fortunate to have the same core staff for many years and they love recognising familiar faces amongst our guests too - like welcoming old friends back. Sorry your request for a chalet couldn't be fulfilled but keep in touch with the reservations team just in case. Many thanks once again and thank you for appreciating our changes and improvements - there is always something going on, kindest regards, Leigh Watson, HR Manager.
This is our 4th trip to this hotel. We go every year at the beginning of June and stay for 3-4 days. After the mad drive through Enniskillen, it is easier to drive through London, the arrival in the Killyhevlin is a lovely peaceful experience. Reception expected us, the rooms they gave us where the ones asked for and the hotel is clean and well presented at all times.
Our room had a view out across the garden to the River and it was lovely. We were concerned at first that being so close to reception it would be noisy but once the door was closed it was lovely and peaceful.
The staff are very attentive and go to endless trouble to please. The food is good. It is not fussy pretentious stuff but honest tasty food which should please most people. Even if you are "Quirky" the hotel will try and please.
We cannot praise it highly enough and whilst the women in my life sat in the lounge and drink tea and gossip I can sneak off to the Pool and Spa for an hour and work up another appetite.
Its great to hear from our "regular regulars"! Thank you very much for reviewing you latest break with us and we are delighted you had a great time and found everything and everyone met your requirements for the duration. Thank you once again, and we look forward to your next visit, kindest regards, Leigh Watson, HR Manager.
Extremely average experience at Killyhevlin. Had really looked forward to luxury and some nice food, but seriously disappointed. The food at this hotel really lets it down, which you don't expect at a 4-star. Food very basically presented and tbh I've made more tasty food at home. Don't cope well with allergies- I ordered a burger after being directed away from other dishes due to my nut allergy - it arrived with no bap. Second night was similar. Would've liked the opportunity to change my order! Not great for children there's a wooden train which has seen better days and a seesaw, but glass bottles around it also broken glass on other parts of the lawn. Lady in charge of breakfast was very helpful to be fair. WiFi extremely intermittent. Won't be rushing back.

It was lovely to make use of a gift voucher in the resturant at the Killyhelvlin hotel. The staff were very helpful in reserving a table last minute and attentive throughout our time there. Food was tasty-- sometimes in the past we've found the carvery "hit and miss" but all very good on this occassion. The resturant offers spectacular lakeside views.
Dear "Mulie D"
Thank you very much for your kind words regarding your recent visit to spend a gift voucher at our carvery. Great to read everything was to your satisfaction and we look forward to seeing you return, kindest regards, Leigh Watson, HR Manager.
We stayed for a mid week break wednesday to friday - it was very good value at £99 per person for the two nights with breakfast each morning and one evening meal each. The food in the restaurant was superb and the breakfasts were really lovely. The second evening we went into the bar and had starters and main course. The food wasnt as nice - I got a fish with batter so hard I couldnt eat it! It was very pricy as well - you would think in the bar it would be cheaper vut it cost nearly £50. I would definitely go back but go somewhere else for a meal the 2nd night.
Thank you for reviewing your recent mid-week break with us. We are delighted you enjoyed your stay, the menu in the restaurant and the breakfast selection. It is disappointing that you didn't enjoy your choice in our Grill Bar. Our Manager, Aidan, (firstname.lastname@example.org) would like you to contact him to discuss this matter if you wish - please use "JillB" and quote your reservation/ booking number when making contact. We want our guests to enjoy their time with us and have great memories when they leave. Thank you, kindest regards, Leigh Watson, HR Manager.
